Nice! I didn’t know these made an alternating tone

Im from Denmark. We actually had that system installed in our house, with monitoring from an alarm central. When I was a kid. I remember those tones very clearly. The only difference is the way the panel look. It was white instead of black, and grey instead of blue. Plus there were other symbols. Instead of standby (lamp) there was an unlocked padlock (for disarmed). So instead of text there were images

Sounds like you had the 500r instead of the 500r+. Still quite similar although I don’t know much about it as mine is broken.

@@AshavgeekI would have thought if any were that old, they would be the 500r versions instead of the follow up 500r+. I think most of these were early 2000s.

      Great stuff 👍
I did a power supply change on a 9100 to day & customer was so happy, I made my customer laugh by saying its Only be working/on since Oct 1986 Give or take a power cuts here and there haha then customer Showed me there AEG microwave that they bought new in the mid 80's in which I replied you know OLD IS GOLD
I was checking my stock room the other day and found a 9100 salesman display unit in a metal flight case with pirs & push switches to simulate zones
Also a 9500 dot matrix printer with leads
I haven't made any RUclips vids may be one day but good to know there's others out there keeping scantronic systems alive
