First of all look at how big those patties USED to be smh
They still make the big Pattie’s. And they are just as big. They don’t have them all over the place though. They have the mini Pattie’s all over because they are better. Try grocery stores, they have the big ones at those places.
Ah...great memory from back in the day. Remember this commercial quite well. Thankfully, in 2023, York peppermint patties are still around. Bit i to one wayching this video.

Mammaw sue recorded the Barbra mandrel Christmas special, yes Virginia there is a Santa Claus, how the grinch stole Christmas, ‘‘twas the night before Christmas, frosty the snowman, Charlie Brown Christmas all on one tape off live tv from the 80’s and was loaded with the old 80’s commercials like the 7Up Christmas commercial, California raisin “I heard through the grapevine”, the York peppermint patty, almond joy and mounds chocolate, and Oreo cookies sponsored Charlie Brown. Every year all through December me and my sister would lay on our bellies in front of mammaws tv on a quilt with our elbows down and holding up our cheeks as she put that tape in and we’d watch it til we dozed off in the floor growing up in the 90’s. She tried to copy the tape and edited out a lot of the old commercials to save film but it still ain’t as good as the first. That old tape eventually got ate by her VCR and now all I have left are my memories. Thanks for sharing the video
