I know I’m late but loved your video. I currently own the f10 550i M-sport and I can tell you from daily driving the car, driving never becomes a chore. This car is one of the best out there for its performance and it’s offers when it comes to luxury.
Imagine living in Germany and getting to REALLY enjoy this car. I drove there this past summer in a '17 E250 and it was an amazing experience, albeit a bit scary at points!
It's hard not to get a smile on your face when you step on the accelerator. If it wasn't for fuel consumption concerns, I would have gone with the 550 instead of my current 535i M Sport. Overall, good video...
Fredayday Bae (550i 2013 M owner) I’ve found that using 93 gas instead of the recommended 89 improves gas mileage quite considerably and makes less trips to the gas station lol , worth the couple more cents in my experience (:
I hate how people say bmw 550 with m sport package as if its an upgraded model with a better engine or something. It legit has nothing but some m badges, different steering wheel and bumpers
@@sperlongatours the sports transmission is pretty much standard on f10 535s and 550s unless you get a super base model but the 0-60s are the same with or without it
I found a great deal on one of these but many ppl talk about problems with this particular model. Kind of scared to pull the trigger despite me wasting it for my daily. It was between this and a rt awd.
I have a ‘16 and bought it with 51k miles on it. Just shy of 30 grand was what I paid and brand new 4 years ago this car was nearly 77 grand. It’s a hell of a lot of car for under 30k. You can find these all day like that.
Dustin Bryant hi I’m thinking of buying a 2016 model with almost the same miles as yours. How has it held up so far. I am a little skeptical because it has no warranty but I’m so in love with it
TwinPower = TwinScroll != Twin Turbo Twin Turbo (usually) better than TwinPower. M5 is likely twin turbo; not twin scroll. Twin Turbo (2 separate turbos) Twin Scroll/Power; 1 single turbo with 2 scrolls (1 big for high RPM, and 1 small for low RPM), tuned to get boost even at low RPM.
Currently own a 2016 550i xdrive, all around it's really an ultimate driving machine and beautiful car. Great video.

As MUCH as I LOVE my 550, the fuel consumption is ATROCIOUS!!

Just curious as to why he drove that car with an empty tank. You could easily lose your injectors that way. I drive a 2013 550I X M Sport.
Tunmishe Oke ---- it's bad to drive on an empty tank, but that's not why you lost your injectors on your n63 engine :/

Do I tune and add bolt ons on my m spec 535i 2011 with 103k. Or wait to make that investment on a 550i.
When you were shifting paddle shifter on the steering was the gear on Drive(D) or was on Sport(S)?
as soon as you start to shift with paddles it auto switches to sports(S)
