Barnes & Noble is having their 3x stamps this weekend which makes everything for premium members effectively 23.5% off (10% off plus up to 13.5% credit back via stamps) for ALL Lego sets.
Thank you! Still haven't pulled the trigger on their membership. Can never seem to justify it my mind. Wondering if I should....
@@AbsolutelyJason I've found it to be worthwhile. It's a $30 outlay that has paid for itself multiple times over with lego and book purchases.
@@AbsolutelyJason ...If you ever by more than $400 in Lego (or anything at Barnes & Noble, really) that you'd normally purchase at retail price, annually, that would essentially pay for the subscription. That's not counting the "cash back" via stamps feature which is, at about 5% any given day. On top of that, B&N often has sales a few times a year where they clearance out a lot of sets at 25% off. There are 2 types of purchases that make a lot of sense at B&N: First, any set that you absolutely want as soon as possible. I think they're about a month or 2 behind the release calendar at the Lego store. At 10% off automatically, that gives you the earliest possible sales price short of some strange Costco deal. The other time is when they do the 3x stamps sale. That effectively gives you 10% off and then about 15% off the remaining subtotal. This works out to about 23.5% back in value. Also, whenever you use your cash-back from the stamps, it lowers the taxable sales price, so you'll save a few percent on that end, as well. They've got other perks for being a premium member, but it's one of the better deals when purchasing Lego. ESPECIALLY on the uber expensive sets. Some of those sets can take YEARS to reach the 20% sale mark. At B&N, that can be only a few months after release.

I picked up the Lego Truck from Costco on Saturday for $75! I was shocked to see it already and picked up 2! Lol

Target and Amazon also have the 3in1 Castle available for $84.99. At that price the price/part ratio is very good. I may pick up a couple just for parts.
I don’t know anything about Wicked but I’m pretty excited for the Wicked sets. Sucks they are not mini figs tho, having a custom Ariana Grande would be cool
It's weird, I'm both surprised by the fact that they aren't minifigs but also not. I just think doing them as minidolls hurts their overall appeal. But LEGO has a huge R&D team, maybe minidolls just made sense for this.
We enjoyed Wish, but man I wish I could really like King Magnifico’s Castle.
