Dr. Ling is a modern doctor who ended in the body of the Princess. The previous occupant of the body had a crush on the Prince but was disfigured in her face by the Princess’s cousin.
Isn't she supposed to have reincarnated into this body, from the future, and wasn't the original girl treated horribly by this ML character, had hoped it would be more about her getting revenge for the poor original owner of the body not letting this fella off all together and falling in love with him, seems like the story went off track. Been better if he had, after divorcing her, realised what he'd lost, reflecting on his rotten behaviour, being racked with guilt but also having to see her live a happy successful life, while he got stuck with a scheming, backstabbing, greedy, murderous bunch of so called wives/concubines, never knowing true love.
