  • STEVE LOGAN:
The Bearcat assassin! Despite his height, Logan was one of the best guards of his era. He's now the second all time leading scorer in UC history only behind the #legend Oscar Robertson. One of my favorite college players of all time. He had a shot at the league, but things didn't go as planned. Find out why here. Enjoy!

Great video. Same era. Steve was a true general. We all know the NBA can be political...despite a players talent. Videos on Melvin Levit, Kenny Saterfield, and Dermar Johnson would be huge. Shh the assistant coach that help recruit all those guys probably has an interesting story. All that talent in Jordan brand uniforms with the black socks in the early 2000s had me wanting to be a Bearcat.

Look at the teams he was playing against. Yeah Conference USA was a great mid-major conference then, but outside of Marquette, DePaul, and Louisville, they didn't have to play anybody. We don't respect Gonzaga nowadays (or back then) for the same reason.

I am a long time Memphis Tiger fan and you don't have to tell me how good Logan was. He was a true Tiger killer. I'm not sure who would dominant us more between he and Nick Van Exel. When Juan Wagner would play against Logan, they both would always score over 30 points, but Wagner would get his point with volume shooting, while not shooting such a great percentage, where as Logan would get his 30 points while shooting a much better percentage. It felt like Logan would never miss a shot. Not only was I suprised that he didn't make it in the NBA, but I totally expected him to be a super star. Wow.

Sadly. If Steve was honest, he was ashamed at what he was seeing out on the court of the Shoemaker Center. UC is *not even CLOSE* to what they used to be......and I don't ever see them getting to that status again. THANK YOU NANCY ZIMPHER.....you black hosed....high heeled wearing hoe!
