i think that you just need to just move on because in the end you will end up getting hurt either way sooner or later..... whether you like it or not........ so by you just pushing people away you are not getting any where.... plus since you are saying that you have been waiting for love, how will love come in if you push it away? and you just mentioned that you have been waiting for love for a long time in your previous comment........... so you can't blame others for what your ex did to you and by you doing the same thing to other people who are coming into your life, doesn't justify you because as a saying goes "Two Wrongs don't make a Right" it will still be a wrong and you are just gonna end up ruining your own happiness...... and i think that it also depends on how old you are...... because you don't sound like you are older than 16 to be honest..... because you really don't seem to act like a grownup person because a true grown up will just know that it's time to just move on and won't think about giving "paybacks"..... so i suggest that you do some inner child healing before you plan to give paybacks to anyone......because if you act impulsive like a 6 year old, you ain't getting nowhere...... so even if you find that special someone, and you push him away, then it's only you who will stay where you are stuck at and cry and curse at life being unfair while that new person you just pushed away will be in a better place and would have easily moved on from you...... and when love goes, it ain't gonna come back since the universe ends up getting the message that you don't want "LOVE" or anything to do with it..... and so the universe will stop sending you what you are waiting for
