Good interview. Here is my question to the CEO. Why don't they bring a product like Silver Plus? It will be useful for all section of society.
RE is not a word it's an pride
I respect this men a lot, I own a RE. what I feel is, RE started listening to people more only when they started building a J series engine. which is currently a successful engine in the market. and that is basically because the competition in this classic segment is very high, and with the older engine and comfort they provided was very low. vibrations, rusting issues , not even a fuel indicator man. it was all business, when they where monopoly they just dint care about it. now when there is diverse option, they have to work on the weak points, its all business. But still RE has to develop there after sales service area, they are losing customers every day because of there poor after sales service. strict rules and regulation and SOP need to e maintained, and need to monitored by RE. Japanese are very good at it. they will bang on you any time.... and the market is vey volatile , you never know. things may change. there is always four-stage theory splits growth into start-up, growth, maturity, and renewal/decline stages. you are in to maturity now. what's next RE. think about it.

I haven’t seen any experience centre for RE. I am just seeing normal transaction centre where I go and ask for price pay. Salesmen are not even bother about customers. I entered one showroom, no one attended me. I just went and asked details of bike.
My experience, compared to rest of the showrooms, RE and Jawa showrooms are way ahead. RE also has a test drive motorcycle for all their lineup, especially the 350 ones.
Of course they can improve on their customer experience.
My dislike was the attitude of salesman "either take it or leave it". Hopefully with Harley and Triumph coming in, RE becomes better.

Am a proud owner of RE a nd have been driving RE for more than 10 years. RE has to greatly improve their servicing and customer management a lot. They are not bothered about Customer and vehicle once it is sold. Vehicle is very good no doubt. Now they have sold lot of vehicles that they are not able to handle the service and maintenance part.. Because of this reason, I have now booked New Triumph Speed 400.
With others players entering this CC Segment, RE should think abt this gap. The cult of being owner of RE is shifting to customer service centric and towards functional aspect.

Only if RE gives a reliable Himalayan 450 / Scram 450 with good service support, they can continue ruling this segment. Already many have moved to Adv 390 and now to triumph motorcycles. Even if scrambler 400 gets 10k bookings they are all going out from RE's pie...

Almost the current situation is we have to rely on Outside mechanic for Service.. I have classic RE but the service is Pathetic.. The major concern of RE service is Pathetic.. Pls have strict ratings/Checklist on Service Mechanic.. Check on quality items products thats has been used.. Thanks

Mr Govindarajan Thanks for your support pls take action on service center not supporting properly we all really fed up in this area mainly in Chennai No proper service engineers not supporting for customers customers really suffering lot you all how much effort taking daily for the business but in the service centre very bad only not supporting for warranty full and full money minded pls involve and take immediate action in service centers please I request otherwise these service center engineer will vanish Royal Enfield soon pls focus on service mainly in Chennai all area especially Anna nagar

RE has to work on the sales and customer experience, it is very poor, I waited for nearly a year for Himalayan in 2021 ,then cancelled the booking and switched to Xpulse.

Seems like RE team is concerned after both triumph and Harley launched 400cc bikes. Definitely it's a tough competition for RE. You guys need to rework your strategies. Improve the quality, get the right pricing educate your service team only then you can stand tall in this market.

I’m going to sell my RE Himalayan due to the poor service. Even my bike I completed only 5000km. I’m completely fed up with RE service. Almost I tried three service center all are same. Very Worst

You have good idea,theory, implementation but now a day people complaint about quality (many manufacturing defects),worst service ever i could hear everywhere people are waiting to get their dream fullfilled (as i heard these reviews i stopped my plan on buying it)your strategies are getting failed after sales is that your plan and wont care after sales?.. if that continued it will decline for sure already highness is there hd440 and triumph are in the way......so RE should maintain their standards at their level ..

I bought classic 350cc in 2012. The bike costed me 1.29L on road then, so far i have spent more than 1.8L for service alone, i am not a rash driver, nd its not possible to drive it that way with this bike. i mostly use this bike for my office commute. I gotta say the quality of the spares are too poor and the cost associated with the service are damn high...After all these years, i am still spending more than 4k for every service. Highly disappointed with the bike.

True re is an emotion,ennai Mari vangunavangaluku Ellam emotion than,most un refined bike in India was my feel,I got sciatica problems after riding this hard bike,third class suspension vibration ,re will never take this into their minds,more over how can it be a good cruiser bike If it even strains and vibrates so heavily after even 70 kmph.
Ceo sir I also purchased a defective super meteor 650 bike from pondicherry rooster automobiles mg road showroom .i have returned back to dealer on april 30th but till date I have not received my new bike .i have payed my third emi .i have lost my peace of mind,money, health,timings.these is the worst and bitter experience in my LIFE TIME. Since you have the market in this segment. I hope you take advantage of it. Service is worst. Sales is worst. Across most outlets. Service technicians are with minimum experience. But the cost of service is high. Which does not have quality.
I bought classic 350 in 2017 from velavan motors Vadapalani. One of worst sales team. They lost my rc book and for one year no response. Service cost if too high. Service adviser just ticks as per the kilometers run. Engine knocking off issue was not, resolved after repeated complain. Chain sprocket goes often. Finally i sold my bike due to high maintenance. And i am, really happy. Re is just, made for show off.
