Out of all of these gardens, Dennis Hundscheidt's garden in subtropical Brisbane is the best I've personally seen . However the most impressive garden I've seen in tropical north Queensland is the Tabu B&B in Cairns-- absolutely stunning and with the largest selection of tropical plants I've seen in a private garden.
Tropical plants in australia dont like the sun. Every nursery they have a covered roof. I wanted a tropical garden was told its not possible. Im confused
You need to plant canopy trees that provide shade and filter the sunlight. Then layer the planting underneath the canopy to mimic the structure of a natural tropical vegetation community. Different levels of plants i.e. understorey and groundcover. You will need to do research about what plants can handle the varying levels of filtered light under the canopy trees.
Nice video😊

@@mrporsche4236 There are shade loving tropical plants and sun loving tropical plants , it's about plant choice, and they grow best in the tropics.
@@mrporsche4236 PS. The summer sun outside of the tropics in Australia can be hotter and more intense than within the tropics, ironically.
