Can you share your parts list? Also, what solvent can safely remove the corrosive glue? My unit still has it but no corrosion yet.. my amp doesn’t have a lot of hours on it being it’s age.. bought it in 1984.. that thing was so expensive back then.
Closer to the MOSFET 1985 version A-1020 almost the same specs with the exception of the damping factor is half the A-1000 which is 90. I actually have both the A-1000 and the A-1020, I also have the AX-930 which has a damping factor of 500

What happened with the small power board from behind the volume board? I see the two empty retainer screw holes. Great work!
Small power board is a part of original simple psu, replaced by a new psu of my design. Old parts are removed. Thanks

Nope, AX-900 in my opinion is a modern style sounding amplifier. For me like a 90's discoteque style.
