The 12100f seems to be way better than the 2600x or i7-6800k minimum requirement in all the gaming benchmarks I've watched so even though it's only 4c/8t I'm thinking it should more than meet the minimum requirement for pretty cheap. And since she only plays at 1080p60 (and really only cares about getting 30+ fps and being playable at this point), it should be a solid option for at least 3 years for other big upcoming games too I think.

if you already have 5600g there's no use of buying 12100f and if you are going to buy new 5600g to pair with rx 6600 then dont do that rather buy ryxen 5 5500 (Same cpu without vega 7 graphics) because with deadicated graphic card wasting money after apu doesnt make sense unless you are going for editing!
