Hi Chris and Yvonne great idea recreating the entertainment center into a coffee bar thanks for sharing.Prayers Blessings to you Chris and both of your families Hugs Mildred!
I had a solid oak entertainment center. I put pegboard in the back, hung all my scissors, cutting utensils, and patterns. Then I bought a piece of oak faced plywood cut it and stained it to match.Used a piano hinge and drop leg to make a wonderful drop sewing table. My sewing machine fits snugly inside, the table lifts up, I can close the doors and hide all my clutter and I still have my nice looking piece of furniture. This was 10 years ago and it’s still such a beautiful piece of furniture but lately I have been giving it the evil eye thinking that I might just want to chalk paint it! LOL
WOW!! What a vision you have for this kind of thing!! You need to rent Chris out hahaha or have him do lessons to the other hubsters out there hahahaha AND wiring it for electric!! Genius!! Hope you let us know how it does in the booth!!
Hello our ginger genius’s. At least you’re gonna have the best part of this cabinet flip- the flowered grill. You’ll be thinking 🤔 of this when you go to bed tonight. Blessings to all Ginger Snaps 🐈🐈🐈🐈😘 Elizabeth
I love this piece !!! How fabulous to turn that Entertainment Center/Cabinet into a COFFEE STATION ! Love the light in it. What a grand idea to remove the ironwork and use the space. LOVE LOVE LOVE ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️ Excellent work Chris !!! Great vision Yvonne ! 💛💛☀️☀️💛💛
Wow! I am in awe. What a beautiful piece. So beautiful that I forgot about that pretty black metal scrolly piece that was removed at the beginning of this flip. 5 stars!
I am SO glad you didn't leave the bead board black! I renovated a 70's high boy dresser into a tv/entertainment center. I used bead board for the back after removing the top three drawers. It was placed on an angle in my familyroom and as nice as it turned out it always looked like there was a black hole in that corner of the room. I have since removed that top part of the piece and it looks so much nicer in that corner now! I love the light you added to your coffee bar! Nice touch!!
Thank you for respecting your husband enough to ask him,...instead of just blithely assuming he'd do it if you bought it and brought it home! Another beautiful job!
Beautiful transformation. I have a armoire in my barn that I want to make into a coffee bar. I love the light fixture. Thanks for the inspiration ❤️❤️❤️
It turned out so beautiful! Well done! I feel surprised that you did not line the drawers with your black & white floral. The light fixture with the Edison bulb & the new pulls really added to this gorgeous paint job! You two ROCK!!! An inspiration! Thank you!
Wonderful! I have an old inherited Asian carved bar that I would love to make into a coffee bar! You are always inspiring, in craft and in your lovely Christian spirit!
As always, my friend, you guys rock! What a beautiful transformation! I really liked the metal piece at the top and hated to see it go, but it really did open up the space and I know I'll see it later in another flip! lol Thanks so much for sharing your time and your talent!
Beautiful! Love that light fixture! Chris is a very talented man; the two of you make a great team. I wonder if old wardrobes would make good coffee bars too. I’ll bet you and Chris could do it! Oh and that scrolly, wrought iron looking piece that was at the top could make a nice wall decor piece.
@@GingerChickRehab you know, looking at the entertainment center again - it looks very similar to a wardrobe when the doors are closed. I wonder if someone converted a wardrobe to an entertainment center and now you've converted it to a coffee bar?
Yvonne, I took you at your word and tried your favorite black Walmart paint today. My husband built a large farmhouse shelving unit for me and I used that paint on it. It did an awesome job!! The coverage on that raw wood was so surprising. I am putting on a second cost but honestly it really doesn't need two coats. Thanks so much for the recommendation! ❤
I found a piece of an entertainment centre, rounded on top 2 glass doors..I see the end product..but man does it need alot of work. Thanks for inspiration...I just need a little help from Marc..But I cannot wait to see it completed. You guys did an amazing furniture flip, and the light...I'm so impressed!!!
