I get happy every time you post a new video. I said some time ago that you are on the right path in life, you still are, take it easy and enjoy life. Life is right in front of you and looking you straight in the eye.
Looks great May. What you can do next year is take it back with wet and dry which flattens the surface, and apply another couple of thin coats with a foam roller in summer weather. I did this on my old sail boat in 2008.
That’s quite a task May and great you had George to help you. Takes some planning weather and boat juggling. See George making a spectacle of himself 😂 There is so much to consider for you when painting the boat, what with bugs, time of day to paint etc. The boat looked really good. Great camera work. Your thoughts and quotes on life are so inspiring. Thank You
Hi May another great vlog as usual she's starting to look good for 40 year old. I take sanctuary from the life cycle theory too as just like night and day the light will always follow the darkness and try to stay positive as hard as it can be with mental health and the negativity it can unfortunately bring with it 😢❤
Glad to see you looking so well and sounding more positive, everybody has ups n downs imotianaly and mentally realy pleased for you and especially having a special friend like George realy happy for you both, love your channel, thank-you May+George 🎉❤
We have just past your boat near King Sutton lock..I can't believe that we missed you again..hopefully next year bur by then you will be out and about on the canals of england..debby on the duchess
Hi May She looks wonderful May!! Life is like a book; as one chapter finishes another begins and when you get to the end of the book you close it up and put it away safely so that someone else may read it. You mentioned that you might have your boat repainted, undercover, in a few years. If I may offer a suggestion, save up to have her grit blasted, back to the raw metal, and have her sprayed. The extra cost is well worth it and will reveal hidden secrets. If you do get her hull blacked she will be out of the water and would be an excellent time to have her named/renamed. I don't think you have ever shared how you came by her. Could be an interesting vlog for your viewers. Mark Alberta, Canada
As for the bugs just wait till the paint is good and dry then wipe the surface down the bugs legs break off even the bug bodies will wipe away some will leave a little white marks which can be easily touch up with paint. looking good.
Mind that isn't lead based paint you two as a good chance it is being old paint somewhere in its depth, Emphysema waits for everyone. Looks good though already for hopefully a long summer.
Do you realise Teamac paints are manufactured in good old Kingston upon Hull? You've done a good job there lass, hope you have a good week, Kevin x

"What do you want to do now?"
"Watch the paint dry"
"Okay" 😂😂

Oh forgot to mention you can use 'tack' rags to remove any surface dust before painting.
Nice job. There's no such things as mistakes, just different ways of doing things 🙏😊
Colour of that water looks like there's been a lot of rain. Oh the joys of the English weather

#3 Queen of Paint!
litle tip put your roller tray in a plastic bag then pour paint in when you finish you just turn bag inside out and have a clean tray
😁
Looking good May. Can i ask where you got the roof seat from?
May💝💖❤
Queen👸 of boats and colors.
Where is your friend Aunt Tracy's boat? Did it sink? Titanic?🤔🤔🤔
If it helps you for doing outside DIY in the rain get a tarp and make shift polls to hold the tarp up to cover you and the tools
As for the bugs just wait till the paint is good and dry then wipe the surface down the bugs legs break off even the bug bodies will wipe away some will leave a little white marks which can be easily touch up with paint. looking good.
Ooh where did u get that chair from?
Great film, good effort! I would mention that a covid mask will not protect your lungs and airways from sanding dust, even if it's windy! 😷😟
today i shall mostly be wearing green
