Is there a way to adjust the water temperature on this SW6 type of water heater? Mine runs really hot.

Unfortunately, they are not adjustable. It is a temperature sensing limit designed to maintain a water temperature of 130°F. Just need to adjust your cold to mix more at the faucet. I have heard of people putting a flow valve on the output of the water heater to reduce the amount of water coming out and said this helps regulate it and make it a little more controllable. I cannot attest to that actually working. But no way to actually adjust the temperature. -Todd

@GreatAmericanRV I just open the bypass valve now, and use only the hot water shower valve. I felt I was using too much water just trying to get a tolerable temperature, and found this to be a more water efficient way for showering. Temp is about right using this method.

@@mick5740 minute mark 3:30 goes step by step on how to operate with gas. It will light automatically when the gas switch is initiated.

What if the rubber over the reset buttons are both missing?

Technically not a big deal but you would want to have them replaced so no water, insects, etc. can get in there. -Todd

Excellent video! Can you do one specifically for removing and replacing the anode rod and best tools to use when replacing? Thanks
