System of a down got me into guitar about a 2 weeks ago I bought my first inexpensive guitar from Amazon and at 18 I can now subparly and badly play aerials
They got me into playing guitar as well, although I didn't have the ability to play things like BYOB so I started off with Metallica and started to do System of a Down after

Just wait until you wanna sound like frank zappa, and realize that improv with a clicker actually makes for some pretty cool spontaneous riffs and then organize that into beautiful songs 😅
