You know Em hasn't changed that much. It's a story, and he did write them both, so he knows both the good and the evil thoughts. He said that he thought something like 90% of the time people listened to their evil side. Angry and pessimistic, i guess he did change a bit there, not angry anymore. Hard to stay as mad when you're not broke and desperate anymore. I'm sure he's still got his problems but maybe that part healed. It's really interesting to see how much his views on gun control changed over the years for example. 2004 angry and bitter at not being able to protect himself when he wasn't allowed to carry, 2020 write a song advocating stricter regulation of guns. I love Nas btw you could do Michael & Quincy off KD III maybe. Ether one of the best diss tracks of all time. Ugly or Meet Joe Black off Magic. I'm up for some Nas, old or new.
