I'm glad you guys reacted to this. I actually requested this and a couple of their other songs in the Nightwish Your's is an Empty Hope reaction earlier. Check out both Dark of the day and Incinerate by Semblant. Mizuho actually growls on Incinerate.

Mizuho, her given name, is a Japanese word but she's not Japanese. Sergio Mazul, the male vocalist, co-founded the band. They've had several lineups but this looks like a keeper.

Your gonna have to check out incinerate from these guys, I'd say it's a far superior song that shows more versatility especially from Mizuho (the female lead) but another of my favorites is sleepless and that has their previous female lead and plays back and forth between male and female in awesome fashion

Defintely suggest you try Incinerate. A much, much better song all round - drastically heavier and a tighter performance (plus a video that isn't 100% dependent on Mizuho being crazy-hot)
Awesome song and band... this video though 🤣 I think they bought the whole supply of makeup in Brazil. It also reminds me of some of the hair bands just over forcing emotion.
You could make the argument that Alissa was the trailblazer for that look when she was in The Agonist. I have no memory of women in metal bands having extreme colored hair before that. They always had dark hair or were blonde before Alissa showed up. Then EVERYONE had blue hair it seems.
