Two thumbs up for the time and effort you put into this stretch of sidewalk Josh, the concrete isn't that old so I'm thinking it's was done in the past two years which means that the city should have taken the silt fence down already or let the property owner know that they could take it down, I'm surprised there wasn't a code enforcement violation notice about the overgrown grass and weeds somewhere along the sidewalk

Good job. Always amazes me how few people will move over to allow room for workers on the side of the road. You did like I did on the sidewalk cleanup that I did a few weeks ago. Just concentrate on making the sidewalk passable and well edged with a little strip on each side to allow folks to be comfortable.

That was a good thing to pick. We can fix things a little at a time. Since you are skilled, I know you can watch variables around traffic. That looks to be helpful for bicycle, foot and wheelchair traffic. I can understand the erosion control idea but you did find one glitch, or not-anticipated factor, in that it made sidewalk clearing difficult. Good warning on the mower key problem. Sorting what to do with bulk green trash was good. 17:47 what a whole new look of order, safety and neatness to that area. You already had direct proof it was needed, with two pedestrians and one bicyclist using the sidewalk, while you cleared it. Nice Before and After photos.

Think I’m gonna just keep mowing, I really don’t want to be away for long periods of time. Being away from family isn’t what I want. Probably just concentrate more on my business next year, so many yt channels to compete with, it’s tough to make money on here.

The city should send you a check for doing their job. Tax payers are getting cheated. We pay for Maintenance crews to keep areas mowed & cleaned & we can see it’s not being done.

I would love to come to Detroit, I’ve seen videos of some nieghborhoods there. I could cleanup whole streets.
Some municipalities have lists of violations that need cutting, ask where you live! One day a week of freebies will keep youbusy.
Thinking of following the inspectors around to find them, I’ve given my # to a couple of them to give to people, they haven’t given it to anyone.
