Decker, what a great series this summer. Im really enjoying the content sir. Thanks for all your hard work and have a great day/night. Its 235am and this was a delight.
Some notes - When Demon is taking a shit, the graffiti behind him says "Fadden was here." Fadden was the punk who chopped the fat dude up in the beginning. Also, anyone else note Roy's Taxi Driver reference? Also, them two hicks were hilarious.
I always found this Jason to be a good one as opposed to most people's views. It's clever how Roy, the medic, has the scene where he stands up over his partner when they discovered his son slaughtered. The same shot there can be seen as well when Jason makes several appearances, hinting it was him as Jason.
I liked it very much, as well. Like Halloween 3 Season of the Witch, it tried something different and clever, which I respect. However, it failed with mainstream audiences because of the hatred of no Jason and no Michael Myers. Its one of my favorite in the series, just like the first.
There is still one big question in this movie for me. Jason, especially after becoming zombie superman in the sixth movie, definitely displays supernatural abilities such as teleportation. But how the fuck does Roy show something similar. Sure he is seen to be more physically affected by wounds comparatively, but how does he literally walk through the front door, and then basically teleport shortly after. Last time I checked, most human beings don't have the strength to do that, much less a paramedic. And when Pam and Reggie are running to the car, if somehow he didn't teleport, he would have had to outrun them, and move around the car without them noticing. I don't understand!
Something i really like about this movie is the ending chase scenes, they make it long enough and sorta tense. They also have good horror music playing throughout it.
I have social troubles too and I find Joey's death and how people treated him when he was being a nice guy to everyone and Victor killing him just because he wanted to help disturbing, I mean come on he just wanted to help and talk, this disturbed me so much that it makes me even more hesitant to talk to people. And also to other people never take social troubles like autism and aspergers lightly and also don't think its funny or something to joke about because its not, and I get it's part of the horror movie traditions but every time they bring up sex in these movies I instantly get bored I mean I can deal with it when there is a little bit of hints in it but I can't stand it when it never stops and when people won't shut up about it there are better things to talk about than sex.
Cameron Layton I guess you mean you feel bad for him i also feel bad for the victims sometimes too also if victor was in an asylum like he should have been this movie wouldn't have happened
Cameron Layton everyone there had social problems so they have a reason to be annoyed by little things also victor had anger problems and was really insane
The hockey mask in this film has blue markings on it instead of red ones, foreshadowing that the real killer isn't Jason at all. The hockey mask used during the opening title sequence is of a different style, with different markings, than the hockey mask used in parts III and IV. This is a prophetic clue to the viewer that the man behind the mask is an imposter. Although "Part V" appears on all promotional material, it does not appear in the actual film. The opening credits simply read: "Friday the 13th: A New Beginning." This is the first film in the series where Jason is actually referred to by his full name: Jason Voorhees. In Friday the 13th (1980), Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981), and Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984), he is only referred to as Jason, while he is not referred to by name at all in Friday the 13th Part III (1982). Coincidentally, Deborah Voorhees shares her real surname with Jason.
Tommy "kills" Jason at the end of part 4, inpart 4 Jason's mask has half the top chevron at the left side chipped off and the axe mark also on the left side from the end of part 3, then later on the cheek chevrons are gone. in part 5 it's a copycat killer Roy Burns his mask has light blue cheek chevrons, tommy kills him takes that mask, but in part 6 the mask has a fatter chevron inthe forehead and leather straps, Tommy was a little horror fan I. part 4 making masks, did he customise the part5 mask and add leather straps? I can only assume that he did

joey is the type of guy that whenever he gets rejected he goes on reddit and says "we trully do live in a society"
The chant is actually “Ki Ki Ki, Ma Ma Ma", the man who made the chant said that's how it was made. But it stills sound like “Chi Chi Chi, Ha Ha Ha"
Oh man, that foreshadowing in the intro.
I don't get what you mean, what was that intro foreshadowing?
Danny themutt Part 6 when Jason comes back from the dead
Fun fact, apparently Pam was able to talk tommy out of killing her and helped him recover
"I need a crap"
"Crap my ass"
Someone got paid to write that.

Part 5 is my favourite in the series it's very underrated
This whole summer special is fantastic! Thanks Decker!
Out of all the people Roy killed he never killed the person who killed his son
Great video as always. I saw this in the theatre when I was 13. When Tommy comes into the barn at the end, the crowd went crazy. It was awesome
What an underrated sequel! Good review
I have to quote Nostalgia critic from old vs new of King Kong. "Note to self, Chocolate means War." 7:57
Some notes - When Demon is taking a shit, the graffiti behind him says "Fadden was here." Fadden was the punk who chopped the fat dude up in the beginning. Also, anyone else note Roy's Taxi Driver reference? Also, them two hicks were hilarious.
ChrisMathers3501 What Taxi Driver reference?
Is it just me or does no one in these films where a bra
if that's a complaint you are watching the wrong genre
Tommy didn't wear a bra.
Not too surprising when the director, Danny Steinmann, aka Danny Stone, directed porn in the 70's before switching to mainstream movies.
13:45 - little tribute to the Burning?
14:48 - hey, it's the guy from Return of the Living Dead!!
I always found this Jason to be a good one as opposed to most people's views. It's clever how Roy, the medic, has the scene where he stands up over his partner when they discovered his son slaughtered. The same shot there can be seen as well when Jason makes several appearances, hinting it was him as Jason.
See now, if Juliette Starling would of broken out that motherfucking chainsaw, that battle would of been much better.
im i the only man on this green earth who likes part 5
I liked it
Its my favorite of the whole franchise, but probably because I'm into comedies.
It's my favorite.
Tommy went straight John Cena on that dude
Something i really like about this movie is the ending chase scenes, they make it long enough and sorta tense. They also have good horror music playing throughout it.
thanks for doing a review on me.
Roy burns you shouldn't of died. I understand your grief. You had a right
Thanks.
roy burns my man
+Cool Kidd 😀
roy burns how’s it going roy? You know I haven’t forgotten about ya

The Waitress almost looks like Sara Jay.
Hang on, Mark Venturini, Miguel Nunez? If Linnaea Quigley shows up, then we have a straight up Return of the Living Dead reunion.
Cameron Layton p(
Cameron Layton in irl Joey fiddled corey haim
+Dorian Harris Where the hell did you get that from?
The hockey mask in this film has blue markings on it instead of red ones, foreshadowing that the real killer isn't Jason at all.
The hockey mask used during the opening title sequence is of a different style, with different markings, than the hockey mask used in parts III and IV. This is a prophetic clue to the viewer that the man behind the mask is an imposter.
Although "Part V" appears on all promotional material, it does not appear in the actual film. The opening credits simply read: "Friday the 13th: A New Beginning."
This is the first film in the series where Jason is actually referred to by his full name: Jason Voorhees. In Friday the 13th (1980), Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981), and Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984), he is only referred to as Jason, while he is not referred to by name at all in Friday the 13th Part III (1982).
Coincidentally, Deborah Voorhees shares her real surname with Jason.
i really enjoy Decker's videos, he has a funny sense of humor and sarcasm
the girl who's last name was voorhees was in a jason movie without jason in it. ah man
The tag line for this should have been “now you’re gonna get it bitch!”
the actor playing Vic played Suicide in return of the living dead
Your videos are great! Please keep up the awesome work; I always get excited when I see something new posted. :)
I binged this entire series over the last couple of days at work and I can't stop yelling "THE SUMMER OF FREDDY VERSUS JASOOOOOON". I blame you.
Happy Halloween Decker!
There is a female cast member called "Voorhees" in this movie? Coincidence much?
19:37 How did Roy burst through the door if he's not as tough as Jason?
Jacob Day Manic strength.
Found some PCP during the course of his paramedic job, maybe.
IT WAS 1985
COCAINE

Tommy "kills" Jason at the end of part 4, inpart 4 Jason's mask has half the top chevron at the left side chipped off and the axe mark also on the left side from the end of part 3, then later on the cheek chevrons are gone. in part 5 it's a copycat killer Roy Burns his mask has light blue cheek chevrons, tommy kills him takes that mask, but in part 6 the mask has a fatter chevron inthe forehead and leather straps, Tommy was a little horror fan I. part 4 making masks, did he customise the part5 mask and add leather straps? I can only assume that he did
George Thomson no
Great video and review, Decker. Next up is my favorite of the series. It actually injects some life and interesting ideas into the franchise. A shame that the director of film number six wasn't hired to direct another Friday the 13th film.
17:34 IM FUCKING DYING OMG
no pun intended lmao 😂
17:39 you had me fucking dying! Then to find out dude got laughed at then instantly gets murdered 😲😅😂
I’d give this a solid 4 Tonka trucks of terror out of 5 because I really enjoyed the surprise and just like you said, reminded me of the first movie! Great video!
I didn't mind this one. I really liked all the subtle hints throughout that Jason isn't actually Jason.
In the game "Friday the 13th: The Game" Jason has the ability to teleport anywhere on the map
But not the ability to climb or jump through a window, despite Jason doing it several times in the films.
But this was before the game
Where did Tommy learn how to do such a beautiful fireman's carry?
11:10 Tommy with the FU/Attitude Adjustment.
