Good eyes ! Mason is wearing an Astral serpent pfd it was a remake of the HF serpant. Designed by Allan Ellard in the 90s. As far as I am aware it was only made for the European market
Hi Northern. Are you referring to the loop stitched into the front of the Astral green vest? If so the answer is no the webbing loop is not tested for working at height.
Next year I'm taking the IFR class for sure, hope you're teaching Mark.

What about the harnesses with front srwn webbing harnesses, are they 'rated' for work at height? (eg rappelling into a canyon?).
