Just wondering if its safe to leave garmin power on "smart" selected. Will this automatically use stryd if im wearing it then just use the garmin power when i have stryd not on or should i still have it always on off for best performance when wearing stryd? Please update help centre as it does not mention the smart option in garmin anywhere and if its safe to use
Hello @Stryd team! I can't seem to get the data field to work as you indicate. I can see the remaining time of the workout but it doesn't show me any zone, I can see the watts... but the wattage indicator is always at the minimum. I have the ID of my stryd and my user correctly written in the IQ Garmin app. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I'm sure there is, but I'm not able to identify it. I have an FR955. Does the workout sync happened with Training Peaks as well? meaning I have power based on Training peaks and will sync to power center then to my Garmin watch?
I had the same problem, since I did it all wrong. Try this: Make a new datascreen. Choose ONLY ONE data field. Select the Stryd datafield. This 1 datafield wil be 5 data fields when you start the run connected to Stryd. You can edit the amount and type of datafeields on your Connect IQ app on your phone.
We hear so little about compatibility with Polar it is always Garmin. I have the Vantage V2 and I am interested in Stryd but there is so little information how both Polar and Stryd is integrated. It sadly is always about Garmin and Stryd.
With the previous version of Stryd Zones Data Field I was able to view Stryd data on Garmin Connect once the activity was downloaded. With the new version of Stryd Data Fields, no Stryd data (power, etc.) appears on Garmin Connect anymore. Am I missing something?
Since the update my watch asks if I should pair Stryd as power. Shall I do it or should it continue only as foot pod? Im confused on the “native power” of things.
My Footpath seem to be dropping off during each workout Some workouts- one of the legs totally disappear; and some both of them disappear anytime during each workout. Next day - they start correctly but drop off again, however, power keep recording - showing in may account. At least for 1 leg. What seems to be to issue or solution? (I'm running the latest firmware) Thank you.

@18:20 great question on the incline feature ! ... how about pre-setting the incline on the Data field setting ? It would be very useful, when I workout with an incline, the incline remains constant ... in the meantime, I'll continue using the stryd workout app for incline workouts 🥲
The Garmin 935 is not compatible with this new structured workout feature. While we worked to enable this update on as many watches as we could, not all watches had the memory or capability to support these new features. Watches that do not receive this update will remain with the previous version of the Stryd Zones data field and can continue to execute their power-based workouts using the Stryd Workout App

It is best to always disable Garmin's value.

For 955 and the like do we have to switch off garmin native power?

How can i see more stryd data on my forerunner 965 running data screens ? Just can use one data screen for stryd no more than one

Sounds great! Question - is the Garmin disconnect/reconnect a once off requirement or will I need to do it everytime I want to sync the calendar?

When wearing a headphone, does the garmin watch give the Stryd data at the intervals on the headphones?
I have all audio prompts on but don't get any power data over headphones (but do get pace and heart rate).

Yes they have their own platform to view your data
