Thanks for showing us your interaction today at Stechford police station. It was interesting to see how uninterested the police staff were when you reported the vehicles with illegal indexes. Such a shame that it took 3 officers to speak with you. And all of them did nothing..... Wow
@@DJAUDITS And all three of them sauntered out with hands in their pockets, a scruffy trio, with a lackadaisical attitude. Surely not a sight their superiors would like them to portray in public. - DJ, please pull them up for this in future.
The real side of policing rather than what they try and portray on the TV shows. Neighbours car was damaged when thieves stole parts off it which caused further damage, another neighbour spotted a suspicious vehicle and took the reg which got reported and they had to chase for a crime number. Car repaired and it happened again with the same vehicle seen parked next to it, reported again and they knew nothing of the previous incident and still had zero interest in investigating the other vehicle. They had to sell the car before it happened again. Certainly nothing like what they portray on the tv shows where they will investigate any minor offence.
It seems that the two WPC's are quite selective when it comes to which offences they investigate. The hands in the pockets is usually a good indicator of how interested they are.
Yep agree, there was no interest from any of them, they didn’t bother to take a note of the numbers either. She was also ready with her excuses before he even says much, my guess is she knows exactly who the cars belong too 🤔

21:00 No the didn't take your report of a crime seriously. Yes, it's a minor infraction and one that even the police only enforce when they want to pile on the offences on top of others such as dangerous driving etc. However, they should at least go through the motions of pretending to take your report as there is no easy way for you to track the status of the crime, so they can write the numbers down then throw it away later out of your sight. But by not even attempting to note the numbers shows that they don't give a fuck. In fact, they probably know the two cars belong to colleagues which why they said that they can't differentiate between police & public cars. So they were doing their best to cover up a crime committed by a fellow constable.
if they`re doing you for DANGEROUS DRIVING, they ain`t going to worry about a dodgy reg plate, DD carries an AUTOMATIC 12 month ban and you also have to take an EXTENDED re-test , so a poorly spaced reg plate ? the C.P.S are just gonna say "am i bovvered " ?
@@t5jerry Police do pile on the charges. Not every time, and maybe not for DD, but they do mount them up to try and give an impression to the court that the "criminal" is a wrong one because they broke so many laws.

Not a requirement to have a blue badge to park in a disabled bay though unless signs state a badge must be displayed. Remember not all disabilities are visible and not everyone with a disability has a blue badge.
@@WhiteDieselShed I know, having been down that "rabbit hole" when my badge had expired and I hadn't realised. The one thing police officers should not do when interacting with the public is stroll around with their hands in their pockets. All three officers shown near the end of the audit were guilty of this. It shows disrespect for the public, the uniform and looks very sloopy and amateurish.........
when you reported the crime, you should have asked them for a crime number, that way there they have to follow it up officially because as they walked away they were just blowing you off, alternatively phone the station and ask for the crime number and if it does not exist report the officers for dereliction of duty

Those slovenly constables didn't even get out their notebook when you were pointing out the cars with illegal number plates. You,ve got 2 Hope's, ' bob hope and no hope's, that they follow up on this.
Mate, stoked you were recognised by a viewer! You must have been chuffed. Big up the bloke who said gday. Cheers to him from NZ, if he's watching. Go dj. 🇳🇿
@@TheSadButMadLad well we both agree on something .
They do enforce it, random pull over and then they look for everything. Well... unless it's their fellow police.
@@t5jerry sorry your wrong in the plate matey
My mate had a front light out.. They pulled him for that. Then to add another charge they had him for incorrect space on his plates.. Courts fined him on both
Those police won't do jack shit about those license numbers
We would have to do something about it if they pulled us over.
Earning the contempt every day
And the answer is... No they bloody well won't !
that did fall on deaf ears ?? but great job . yes plse follow that up . 👍
The whole carpark needs a redesign
Shameful what's going on. Some people get away with anything. Police looks like no one cares.
Didn't their mommy teach them that talking to adults with hands in your pockets is not very polite?
Brilliant auditing again, identifying opening some hours and some incorrectly spaced number plates. It's good to see auditors focusing on the things that really matter to us !
Will they “follow Through”? I doubt it, they are the police.
LT09 VLU parked in a disabled bay but does not display a disabled badge ????
Well Spotted.
If the reg is illegal…. Dose that make the insurance void……..
Well it wouldn't pass an MOT so I guess so. I'm not 100% sure though.
No its not illigal its an offence under the road traffic act. Just like road tax. If you drive without road tax you are still insured.
However it would be a undeclared modification?
@@letitgrow5060 Road Tax doesn't exist and hasn't since Winston Churchill abolished it in 1937. What you are referring to is Vehicle Excise Duty (VED).
@@tangomoggynoengi8518 more commonly known as road tax.
The dvla letters constantly refer to 'taxing your vehicle'
is there a policy concerning police officers addressing members of the public with their hands in their pockets ?
Very interesting audit, particularly into the parking area. As a disabled driver myself, I did not see a blue badge on the black car in the disabled space!!!
I very much doubt they will do anything about the illegal number plates!!!!
I had to prove that I was still disabled between my old badge expiring and my new badge arriving.
99.99% of the time when you see a vehicle parked in a disabled bay, it has a badge on it!!!
I'm West Aussie but my parents are from Birmingham.
Hideous accent 😅
You have a very effective auditing style. Maintain!
They didn't take a note of the registration numbers at the time so obviously weren't taking it seriously.
It could be one them that's why. If not one of the friends (Work collogues) so they wont grass.
2:18 are you serious mate ? 😂 loads of room to get in to this parking spot. Not surprised we can only see you on that orange thing 😂
Hi DJAudits just started watching your encounters, I actually thought it was Joe Lycett narrating. 😊Being a ex Brummie myself who now lives in New Zealand for twenty or so years I couldn't help smiling when I heard the guy behind the glass talking (that was a real Brummie accent) which I haven't heard for years. Shame cops all over the UK as well as the USA have this terrible disconnect with the public. Cant see it really improving. Keep up the good work though.👍👍
Great video footages /Audit
Maybe to know some thing will come of then illegal number plates. Is to report them by email to DVLA and chief inspector
As them 3 no good for nothing police officer's did not want to know.. Maybe one of their own cars
Great work matey
Hope you revisit in a few weeks to check
And next time they come out hands iin pockets ask them do they do that wen talking the a judge or their inspector
BIG up DJ man
Thanks TORBS. ❤️
How do they get away with having incorrect number plates? They'd fail the MOT wouldn't they? Unless they have a correctly displayed number plate they put on just before the MOT, then change it back after?
What a motley crew!! Keep up the good work and stay safe.
The one thing police officers should not do when interacting with the public is stroll around with their hands in their pockets. All three officers shown near the end of the audit were guilty of this. It shows disrespect for the public, the uniform and looks very sloopy and amateurish.........
Hey I love your videos, and your ‘propa’ Leicester accent! Keep up the good work, I always wonder what is there to hide!
Plod stood there with their hands in their pockets - slovenly scruffs.
Great job *siiiir* 👌🏼
when you reported the crime, you should have asked them for a crime number, that way there they have to follow it up officially because as they walked away they were just blowing you off, alternatively phone the station and ask for the crime number and if it does not exist report the officers for dereliction of duty
DJ as Chris would say who put 50 p in him 😂😂😂😂😂😂
LOL
You've fast become my favorite auditor.
