So helpful! I really like the section @18:00 where you teach about Creative Video Combined Set. I got this camera last weekend and am dialing in settings just the way I like them. Thanks!

Hi Lumix, I have three bugs/requests with the S5II regarding photography:
    1) using back button AF set to C-AF when you press the shutter button it takes a photo. However, when you release the shutter and press it again it will not take another photo until you release the back button focus and start again 👎🏻Please fix this.
    2) Please introduce some preburst photography modes
    3) Please allow the choice of FPS in burst mode. 30 FPS in electronic shutter is great, but a choice between 10-30fps would allow longer bursts without filling the buffer and also less photos to sort if 30 is too much.
    Thanks

Would love to get some thoughts on why the S5ii/x shows suggested exposure or alternative exposure when half pressing shutter in full manual mode. It can be quite jarring for wedding photographers when light isn’t perfect and ‘perfect’ exposure is constantly changing

How’s it going quick question. I’ve been shooting video at a Jiu-Jitsu gym for a while now and they have LED lights that cause the banding. Shooting at 4k 60fps solves that issue. But they asked that I take pictures today and the black lines showed up on the picture side as well. I have it on mechanical shutter, the black lines were creeping from right to left, and had to wait for the black line to go across the screen to get the shot. Any suggestions on how to prevent that on the photo side? Thank you 🙏

Hi, I'm on the verge to replace my A7IV for an S5IIX, I was wondering if you can shoot raw+jpeg like sony and put an image preset for the jpeg? Great video by the way

I.m.o. The dummy battery with a powerbank is a better option to power the camera. You than have your usb free for recording.

Is it hard to see the markings on the dials when shooting in darker scenarios?

    • @ryanaugust

It hasn’t been an issue for me. I set my back dial to ISO, and the other two are aperture and SS. It’s been no issue for me in any situation.

Why did you change the RAW file format from the original S5? There has been many months since the S5II released and there are still many programs that can't process the RAW files! Including big ones like Adobe. You should help those companies by publishing what they need to update their software! Next time you release a camera, why should we buy it if we can't use it??

Adobe has updated their Camera RAW compatibility along with Capture One about 1 month after the camera started shipping. Is there a specific program you are looking for that isn't supported?- Sean
