Neck: I took an old helmet and installed eyebolts symmetrically on either side and "hook" into my Bowflex machine. Like doing cable flys on the machine but for the neck. Great Video.
Great video Kieran! I for sure gotta hit the gym more and I'll try some of your exercises for sure! Shifter is gonna go craaazy this season if i dont start training, lol
Found out was a ok racer a bit late ! The last time i truly did any exercise was as a teen in mid 80's . Thankfully 30 years of driving forlifts and shunt trucks . Much slower but have to have hands eyes and feet works as one for 8 -10 hours . Could easliy do a hour in a Briggs ! My shoulders and throttle leg would hurt for 2 days . Was in better shape at 35 than my current 55 . At 15 was doing 10 k runs and running cross country . Cleary picked wrong type of racing as a kid 🤣🏁
Back in the day we'd lay 2 layers of Armaflex tape on the back of the seat with glue, leaving a thin gap in between the layers, right where the spine would slot in. Armaflex is soft but thin so it gets the job done without affecting your stance and increasing movement during cornering. Same trick worked wonders for the ribs, much of the time I practiced and raced without a vest thanks to it. Though a vest goes a long way, it is no substitute for good seat fitting and will just partially mask problems, not solve them. If you can't drive the kart without a vest you shouldn't drive it with one either until it's fixed. Sometimes you just need a different seat that suits you better.

Great video! Does anyone know why I get bruises on my back after karting?
Its pretty normal, because of the bumps and the way the seat is

Correction* In shifter karts the most they will achieve is 1.8G (laterally) in cornering.
Yo are you going to the PSGKA race on the 24th?
Im not in the northwest as of now but I'll be there in the summer. Good luck!
