Where is the 4 year update. How does it look now?
I have an old shed where the metal roofing over laps I put dynaflex ultra. Think it will keep the water out?
I am using the product now and yes the sealant applies easily. The next day it is still a little sticky -- is it okay to paint?

How does Dap Dynaflex compare with Dap Extreme Stretch calk??

I use several DAP sealant products and they are quickly becoming my preferred brand. But WHY 'O WHY don't all caulk manufacturers include a cap on their tubes? A few do but most do not.
We always use dap caulk for the local animal damage company I partly work for. Do great things and never fail

Try LEXEL, you will like it a lot more = it sticks to everything better, and lasts 4 times longer than any silicone/latex.

DAP offers mid to low-end products for homeowner usage. OSI offers more complete systems. Lexel is another notable mention.
Shouldn't tool OSI Quad (max) so your caulk skills need to be spot on.

I thought GE Silicone was the preferred exterior caulk. No?
Ge silicone is silicone not caulk. It is however a much more flexible and durable product. Hard to work with and requires mineral spirits to clean vs just water.

Their mid range caulks are good for low end things. I don't touch the Alex line, not good quality. In general on most jobs interior or exterior I prefer Big Stretch. As the name implies it offers great elasticity.
This is my go to sealant for almost all RV sealant jobs. I use OSI for some joints that need just a little better stretch capability. DAP is definitely easier to work with.
There are similar Elastomeric caulks that fills gaps and toolable unlike quad.
You guys should see if dap can keep a boat afloat that's cut in half like flex tap. That's the real test! #tiacrew

For interior, sure. Don't use it exterior.
Alex plus is terrible imo, it has zero flex.

Is this about Dap or Dynaflex? Dude used Dap on his shed, what's that got to do with Dynaflex? Did he use it? What is Dynaflex? Acrylic, silicone, rubber, pixie dust? If you advertise for a company, please give some better information about the product.
All those questions, you must be a caulk connoisseur? But you cannot differentiate that DAP is the company name and Dynaflex is exterior sealant that they make? This suspects me be to believe you may have commented from your moms basement. How about we were generally talking about DAP products that we have used in the past. It's called a testimonial. We explained in the video how we just got this product and its' better than previous. We have used DAP as a brand plenty of times before and like the consistent quality. Next time we will hire caulking experts, scientists, the guy who invented the formula and get a time machine. Then will be able to give you the info you need. 1000 pardons for this fiasco and any discomfort this video may have caused you or anyone you know.

DAP products suck. Dynaflex has a huge return rate a retailers. DAP is thinking of pulling it
