maybe the Top from the v4 at 7:47 is ment as a toehook catch? i would wonder if it is easer. Its always hard to judge sitting in front of the screen :D

That can be accurate. I think I lack some strenght in my feet, was not able to kick my way up so I could catch it, but maybe that's why it's there. Good to have some skills to work on :D Haha!

Hi Kristine. I watch ur channel because I'm very similar to you. I'm also a teacher, started climbing in my late 30s (don't know about you), climb about V4, and even my style is very similar to you 😂. And I often fail V4s too, although supposed to send them. So I get like 100% V3s and 60-70% V4s in my gym

Hey! Twin 🥳😍 Where do you live? Thank you for watching and leaving a comment, nice to hear about your background, sounds super similar 🤩

I live in Vietnam, working as a teacher here, and started doing bouldering here about 4-5 years ago. Haha but I only stay at V4 level forever 😂 . It's fine for me 😆@@KristineClimbs

The move on the orange boulder you couldn't figure was either a hill on a crimp or a jump straight to the big foot on the right side. And yeah, there's no way it's a V4. V5 at least, quite physical.

Looks hard but totally in the realm of 6B+ with those holds (not my favourite holds but ive gotten used to them over time). I'd likely go with swinging the feet over to the big hold

@@SelcraigClimbs I went back two days later to face the beast again, I tried what you suggested here, but I think I'm a bit too short to reach the footholds at the right. My beta was heel at the smaller hold, super tricky, though. In the next video I will reveal if I topped it or not :D

@@KristineClimbs ooooooh super keen on seeing if you get it! Although I'm certain you will crush this 💪 I can see the heel working and matching hands (maybe even bumping the left hand again whilst still on the heel) before swinging the feet over.
I'm 5'6" so not tall but I have long noodle arms so I often naturally read boulders with a "tall boi beta" 😅

I really enjoyed this video because it’s the kind of session that we can all relate to. Just one thing, the “b” in “climbing” (“climb,” “climber,” etc. as well) is SILENT. Do not pronounce the letter “b.” Your English is wonderful, btw❤

Thank you so much! I will try to remeber that for the future -climbing is a word i use alot when i speak, so good to pronounce it right :D
