I was waiting so long for this video. thank you for the release. you have inspired me to create a big kumiko project as well. It will take me a few months but I will get there
Part 4 was supposed to come out last December. But, I had received an important project to be finished by the first week of January. I think I can have part 4 ready by the end of January. Thanks for watching.
Hi Taeho! I finally allocated enough time to sit down and watch this which as is normal for me it's 04:00 and I'm still only half awake. I'm a bit like you in that there just aren't enough available hours to do all the things I need to to do much less the multitude of things I want to do. ;-) I still have a backlog of tool builds and things to make for Christmas gifts but I wanted to wish you well during the upcoming holiday season and say thank you for yet another excellent video. Stay safe my friend.
Hi, This is a great video and thank you for sharing your process. I have been testing out a few ways to make kumiko joints faster and potentially safer than the table saw sled. (I do not have saw stop table saw). Do you think using a miter saw is a viable way to make larger patterns consistently? One joint seems easy, but moving the blade 120 degrees is a bit tricky. It would be great to hear your recommendations. Thanks!
Sorry for the late reply. It's a thin kerf blade that is about 3/32". Part 4 will cover more about the blades I use for the Kpax saw. Thanks, as always.
I like the use of the miter saw. Got me thinking about trying that.
Love this jig, so much better than a table saw sled
Thanks Vern. :)
Thank you this was an amazing idea to pull this off with a circular saw but with height adjustment instead
Thank you verry much it is a fantastic progress for me, changing my life!
I'm glad this video was helpful. Thanks so much for watching.
Is part 4 ever coming? Would like to see the rest of the build before deciding to purchase the plans.

Thank You so much for the support and for waiting so long... I can't believe how fast four months has gone by.
Hey Buddy.... I am checking the mail everyday..... that Beautiful Panel has yet to arrive! LOL. Good to see a new video from you!
LOL... I still haven't completed the part 9 yae-asanoha on the right side of the panel. I hope you'll enjoy the Lamp series. Thanks!

The miter saw works better for me than the table-saw sled, which I tried first. Part 4 will cover more about the miter-saw jig. Thanks for watching.
Hi just wondered what kerf size your blade is and is and what make please?Just what I was looking for thanks bro!

Is there a new release date for part 4? I have so many question i.e the location of the LED driver and how are the led strips wired up
👍👍😁
Does anyone know how he controls the depth of cut?
On most saws you have a depth stop
What kind of miter saw blade do you use? My miter saw came with thin kerf, it seem to me thin kerf thickness is too thin to make the mitsukude frame.
I use thin kerf that came with the saw. The mitsukude's thickness I use is close to the 3/32"
Hi! Do you use the Festool KS 60 or KS 120? Thank yo for answer!
Mine is KS120. I don't think KS60 is available in US
😊😊😊
Anybody know the brand of the miter saw?
Festool Kapax
Thumb dangerously close to saw blade.
Дякую! Цікаво!
Thanks for watching. :}}
