I am thinking about buying the addon but I'm not sure if it is recommended for animation. I only intend to use it in animated work. And only for a simple white shirt. Can someone confirm to me if it is adequate for that? Because if it isn't I'll just go ahead and lean Houdini at this point but I really would prefer to do it in Blender
with animation it works too...depending how you use it..Houdini you will get better results :) Here you have to practice more to achive good results.
The addon does work really well for animations. On my channel i have a video called "Blender realistic clothing simulation" where i used Simplycloth and Simplymaterial to get pretty decent results.
I meant to make a tutorial on my settings etc but never got around to it, maybe i will so people can see that you can make some really cool cloth sims in blender and don't need marvelous designer for everything.
@@dimigaming6476 That'd be cool! I have been using Marvelous Designer for a while and I think it's great, but it would be lovely to be able to make all the sims in house with Blender

Yes perhaps you use the blender version with the subdivisions modifier and cloth modifier bug? 4.0, 4.0.1, 4.0.2?please use the addon in 3.6 or official release next week's I hope 4.1.there is no bug Insidie the modifier and it works well! Please notice that and get back to me if you have anyway crashes.
@@SimplySlawa I'm using 4.1, so I guess maybe that is my problem haha, 4.1 seems to have a few bugs overall, guess I will go back to 3.6

I saw in the video an Add-on >>> "simply stitch v-1.0" Is it separate from the others or is it inside some PRO?
Thats not a part of Simply Cloth Pro as of now, maybe that will be an update or separate addon in the future

My main problem with SImply Material is that you say you don't support Linux. And I'm not happy to have to go into my Windows virtual machine because accessing my GPU in there is project. Plus, I don't like being spied on in there and I think Linux is a better platform anyways. So I try to find my materials in other ways.
Thank you for the comment. I just setup an Linux computer and will test all my addons in next update cycles on Linux OS. So I can support later this year all my addons. But yes at the moment I can't give full support for Linux because my main computer is windows... Sorry Harald!
