  • Hey there
I went to see the South African Air Force Museum Annual Airshow in Centurion, South Africa. It was my very first air show and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a family event and worth going to even if you're not an aviation enthusiast.

Great video! Brought back so many memories of The Rand Airshow I used to go to when I lived in Joburg.
    Love your videos! Thanks!😊

I’ve never been to The Rand Show but I understand it’s still very popular. I’m glad you enjoyed the video 🙂

Kanyi you should go back to the museum on a normal week day and ask to be shown around and have things explained to you. If I was not so far away in Durban I would offer to give you a guided tour.

Yes, I feel like a guided tour would be valuable especially as some of the aircrafts don't have any information. Also, only 3 hangers were open on that day.

Unfortunately there were not enough Friends of the Museum to guide visitors and and monitor the bigger aircraft. The Swartkop branch of the Museum has pilot training days on most first Saturdays of the month and these are open to the public too.

There were a lot of people, so it was understandable. Thank you for the info.
