this is exactly what I wanted to see, practical use, not just slamming down conveniently sized things in a pre-drilled piece of wood. I expected the performance would end up being about this bad, especially eith the stripping and breaking of the socket.
First of all, I don't believe this is supposed to be used with a drill or impact driver. It should be used with a ratchet. Secondly, it's not supposed to be a tool for everyday projects. This is mostly an emergency tool to have around or an all purpose tool for people who don't do a lot of handy work. Thirdly, it probably doesn't work well for tightly torqued bolts. Fourthly, the quality can vary a great deal based on the manufacturer so do ample research before purchase
Thanks for posting these findings (for both educational and entertainment purposes) I got a good laugh out of hearing the grinding, and seeing a small flurry of metal shavings shoot out. No one can say the product is without value: the adapter portion looks perfectly good. Nevertheless, my search for a single doohickey that does it all (atop a powered driver) continues.
thanks, thats what i wanted to check, i worried that it may not work, as real world bolts are quite tight and rusty sometime. also that slipping with make thing bad on bolt hear
For some of those, you should have put it all the way down and they wouldn't have just shaved off. I've used it and it works pretty well. Like ur vids tho.
it should be said on packaging that this only for light screwdring applications on nuts, hooks etc., head size from 8-19mm 5/16- 3/4". Also you'd better drive it with a hand ratchet rather than a power tool equivalent starting at high spinning speed. Manage your expectation! xx
Really wish i would have watched this before i purchased it.. I mainly only need it for a 3/8, 7/16, 1/2 and a 13, just picked it up today really hoping I have better results than what you have displayed especially considering mine was marked at $30... I guess we'll find out tomorrow morning...
@@AliWall i own 4 in my school bus ... in my car and my truck... and my garage i have a full set of tools in the garage but in a pinch its nice and a must for rounded off bolts
I was about to order it online but then I came across your review. Multi-function things can be less effective than those which are mean for the specific job. Thanks once again for helping me out to decide. 🫡

I totally agree with you. Most important don't use it for tightly torqued bolts and rusty bolts. Otherwise, it can be very useful.
Couldn't said it better myself
Packaging states "will remove bolts up 1 hundred foot pounds", And comes with an adapter so you can use it with a power driver.
But what's the point of a socket that can't do at least moderately hard jobs?
I've already got fingers and pair of pliers for other stuff lol

slamming down conveniently without saying a word.
Many thanks
Finally, a practical demonstration without the use of wood
I almost bought one ALSO! You just helped me save some TIME AND money !!!!. thanks

I agree and yes this is definitely not for a power drill. Thanks for watching my video!

More expensive should be better, but unlikely it can unscrew tight screws. Let me know how it goes!
Did it work?
Did it work for you bro I'm thinking about buying a few
I bought one and it will unscrew but doesn't screw any screws in
I got mine for $4.86
Looks really good, thanks for the video
Thanks for watching!
this may be the funniest video on the internet!
With Ratchet Handle.. not for impact
Thanks brother I almost buy it
Does it work on deep well
Thanks, u save money me too. I like this.
thanks for the review, i was going to get this. will now look into something else.
Glad I could help.
helpful video
Glad to hear that. 👍
Want to see if it works on a car tire nut
Better not try. Not designed for that kind of work, will break easily.
can damage the nut and bolt
So, it doesn't work. 😂 I always wondered if these things actually did.
Nice
Sometimes, the pins might break, so the buyer beware.
Yes, but if you use it gently, it will last much longer 😀
Quick question. Can I use this socket tool to take out spark plugs inside the engine? Thx
I think NO, he is not so deep.
@@AliWall Thx.
Nope
Damn...!! Thanks a lot...!!!! 😂
When are you going to review a real gator grip?
Sorry but I don't think to do that.
Lol this tool so useless. Just came to see some video before thinking to buy from amazon for 17$.
Haha. Thanks - it helped.
Was that a volvo?
Opel 😄
These things suck they don't work half the time the pins leave to much wiggle room
I was so into buying this sh*t at some point, because i thought it is very innovative.
But as i see it really isn't !!
Thanx
For simple works it will be fine but for tight screws probably will not work.
Probably should've watched this before I purchased it. What a let down
In some cases it will be useful, just do not use for tightly screwed and rusty ones.
when are you going to review the fake or real sparking beyblades?
Sorry but not so soon. 😢
Maybe get somebody who can use a drill, he looks like a rookie just holding the
maybe better to manually operate it
Only use the gator grip never use Imitators no problems
Thanks for advice. Will try to find original tool.

Not usefull at all
Unfortunately I bought one and they are a load of shit.
Thanks now i know not to buy one
Useless Product

Well shit.
Does it work on Lugnuts
If they fit in then yes.
