Since 2020, NovaBus has slowly but surely made its mark on MTA Maryland. Now that there are over 100 buses in the fleet, it's time to properly welcome them in. This video is dedicated to the NovaBus models that came into MTA Maryland.

As usual, great presentation. Got a question: I've heard or read somewhere that the state of Maryland operates the entire bus/transit system in that state. That Baltimore does not. Seems peculiar especially in view of the state's large population ~ if true, do you know why this is so?

Technically Maryland MTA operates in the entire state of Maryland in some way shape or form (they own MARC and operate express bus service across the state) but there’s other agencies in the state besides Maryland MTA, Which better serve the individual towns besides Baltimore

What does it mean red? (1:24). Is it a type of bus route or other?

So some of MTA's routes are identified by color instead of a number, to indicate that it goes from downtown Baltimore to the outskirts of town in a "straight" line
So the red goes to Towson directly, but the 51 would serve a lot of communities and neighborhoods before getting to Towson
