@@phm6834 Yes! I find that mostly falls into three categories: so ~bad~ you notice it, good enough you don't notice, so *good* you notice it. Bill's editing definitely falls into that 3rd category.
Bill can NOT keep getting away with this, he just attacked a random skeleton off the street and filed his head. This thing kinda reminds me of the bear-human thing from Annihilation or something like that with the skull hanging off this long swampy-looking neck, like it's decomposing and its skin is just this dark green slop hanging down about to fall off any moment. The way it was initially described before he settled on a body, I was actually thinking more like a Skull Crawler from the Godzilla/Kong monsterverse. And as always, editing and sounds are top notch, you shouldn't go without praise for putting effort into hand-animating the construction of something for little more than a joke, and of course sets you apart from the same old sped-up footage so many other people will rely on almost exclusively.
You know what would be cool? To print your sketchbook and sell copies online, if you are willing to share something like this with audience. I like to see sketchbooks, they are big source of inspiration. And your style of drawing is very interesting.
Yay, Bill upload day is a slightly better day! The randomness of the dice rolls is a great idea, you should add more of them: Roll for color, roll for rust, ones would be out of the comfort zone and sixes would be rust buckets
Your videos never cease to bring me joy, Bill. Your wonderful creations, your relaxed personality, your whole channel. It feels like Christmas every time you post something new.
I've been going through some tough times right now and my way to cope is to craft. You were the one who inspire me to craft so I just have to say thank you for your consistent videos and strangeness. Great build by the way.
I was just actually thinking how impressive the amount of work that goes into not only the build but the documentation of such. Mad skills on both fronts. Cheers!
One more build that I love absolutely everything about. Really enjoyed the lore again here! I think my favourite detail actually are those claws! They look fantastic, so menacing! A build full of great ideas and inspirations :3
The set, the lighting, your editing. I love how you spell out the title in the into. Everything is so stylized. Even the sound effects. It’s so cool to see you utilize your skill to create a creature for dnd.
i really appreciate the ART Attack for grown ups style of your channel mate. all the little stop motion arty bts with sound effects twinges the old nostalgia nicely.
The Creep turned out great. Love the skull face with the single robotic optic. Really sells the biomechanical aspect of the thing and the jumble of wires hanging out of the upper jaw look like tentacles.
I am so excited for you reaching your 100k mark!! You absolutely deserve it!! I love your channel!! Sarcasm is my native tongue, and I am always happy when I find someone else that speaks it as well as you do!!
started making my own stuff slowly and in the process i'm revisiting your old videos for ideas and techniques ;) i'm in love with your channel and your creativity! keep up the great work
I love the lore of this robot, for some reason I found it particularly moving and dear to me. I would love to see one day a project of the god-like AI - The Plant. Honestly that lore sounded like an amazing piece of a story, coherent and with a big potential.
Okay I just want to say something and it’s kinda personal but I’ve been watching for a week and I’ve learned so much neither of my partners really gave me the chance to do creative things out of junk and random things as they would just throw things aways without even considering that I was making my own stuff it cause me a basically a self block cause I was afraid of it being trashed as soon as I start but now that I’m older I’m getting back into it and I’m having a blast I just want to say thank you for being a inspiration and personally to me a teacher and a hero. I came across your channel just when I was about to give up the hobby. I’ve now made two creatures out of trash bits and I’m so happy with them. Thank you ❤
Another fantastic monster build, wow I always absolutely love when you add all the little wire bits, it adds so much cool texture and detail. Also particularly liked the story for this one, I really enjoy hearing the lore while you're painting. So good!
On Sundays , l watch my sons 2 friends , ( thier moms both work Sundays) , so we have a gaming project after lunch and do some gaming after dinner , this looks like a great project to keep them busy. Thank you.
I'd never heard of this channel, the narration and sound design is extremely calming to me for some reason though. Reminds me of my childhood somehow. Thanks, Bill!
That’s a pretty spectacular piece Bill. Even in the early stages of your builds and initial pencil sketches there’s so much character there, you’ve got such a great eye for form and flow.
Passing this along to who ever it might be helpful to, The plastic from rubbing alcohol bottles is really really useful. Its easily cut, relatively sturdy, melts easily, and can be use for numerous things.
Hyperion! That's one of my all-time favorite Sci-Fi novels! It's like The Canterbury Tales in space. Now, for the umpteenth thousandth time, I love your drawings. There, I said it... again. "My hands are like leather gloves." : ) I really like how you incorporated the skull of the Ruster Leader into the story/build. Nice. The final transformed companion bot came out great!
Just got lead here from Boylei Hobby Time.. And man what a whole artistic thing that video is. Everything is awesome to watch... Your voice is chilly, the creature just stunning. Subscribed!
You have an amazing propensity for creating diabolical shambling beasts that really have a great (almost life-like ) quality to them. Thanks for sharing your art. I do sincerely mean "art". This piece truly has the refined sensibility of a skilled, thoughtful and deliberate hand behind it,. So much more than a simple amateur hobby build. I could easily visualize a collection of sculptures like this in a gallery setting. It has the visual energy of an organically fluid drawing that has come to life in three dimensions. I'm sure I've made this comment before about some of your other work, but you really do have a strong "Ghibli" vibe to some of your pieces. I hope you take that as a compliment, as it was meant as one.
Very neat! I really did enjoy watching the sketching part. Makes me want to sketch a bit myself. The rest of the build and the story were top notch as always! Great work!
Absolute bauble-buster of a build! Love it. In other thoughts, we should all lobby David Simon to create a multi-season ensemble TV drama for HBO that explores the different aspects and characters that make up the seedy underbelly of the scratchbuilding / modelling community. The show should be called The (generic holiday) Wire.
There is a machine similar to your Cyborg/Robot, in the first Doctor Who annual (1965). It goes by the brilliant name of 'The Grukker'. Your model looks like it has a similar kind of name. I love your ideas, and this model is one of the coolest yet. Nice one. 19:32 - John Constable's 'The Hay Wain'. A picture of a couple of Jossers, who have got their cart stuck in a river. I bet John never laid down his brushes, wandered over, and gave them a push.
I imagine it still making the same cute little noises that it made as a robo-pet. This hulking great scary creep that makes sweet little "weeeip?" noises would just be brilliant!
I loved this build and the effort to edit and shoot it in such a spectacular manner. Thanks for the entertaining content man. Your videos are always a treat

Same it wonderfully
Videos are good but the sound effects are too much. Distracting and make t]your ADR hard to understand.
I would love to see you build the cute little version before it’s big change!

Beautiful creep, Bill. Can you film your sketchbook falling from your 1000 foot ceiling next time?
done
Love it, Bill. I love watching you draw The translation from paper to physical thing was great!
Cheers Big guns *ahem* I mean Boylei
Agreed
One of my favorite aspects of your videos is the lore of your creatures. Legitimately interesting backstories!
That turned out awesome Bill! We know its a creep, but is it also a weirdo? What is it doing here? Does it belong here?
I don't care if it hurts

Fantastic video as always, I was thinking that the Gasquito might be starting to feel lonely. Everyone needs a friend, even creepy robots!
Aww, that tragic backstory. I love how dynamic the pose is. Awesome job, as always!

For some reason I like this way better than the giant scrap monster u made last year, I guess bigger isn't always better. Awesome stuff Bill!

Love to watch some bill making stuff amidst drinking some probably too cold tea and a probably too hot water cushion
Amazing build. Also, I love hearing the lore about the junk bots and the A.I.

I love just going along for the ride of your videos. It's a wonderfully immersive world you've created and it's very much my aesthetic.
The Dulcolax advert that played after you getting the dice back from cat was so perfectly timed
I love the contrast of all the heavy shadows in this piece. Aesthetically, I think this is my favorite build so far.
Looks great and the Storytime is interresting, too.
The Creep turned out great. Love the skull face with the single robotic optic. Really sells the biomechanical aspect of the thing and the jumble of wires hanging out of the upper jaw look like tentacles.

Truly the mind of an artists, the video editing is art in itself let alone the sketches, creation, and concepts.
BRILLIANT AS USUAL. Love that you produce it from sketch to finished model. Great background story, too. Top notch. Thanks Bill.
Petition for Bill to make a short stop-mo comedy. His comedy edits are so on point.
These videos are excellent. The content, editing, humour, music are very well done.
I love how you casually make really good and creepy lore
incredible imagination and a lot of editing work. I find it admirable

Poor companion bot. But at least he got his revenge. And now he's got a new purpose, and a badass mechanical body to go along with it.
that robot monster design looks awesome.
Amazing, thank you for teaching us how to make some of materials.
great metal look! more things need to be made out of junk around the house
