- Hiya Duck! I went to Veitman Nailympia 2024 April 10-11 as a judge and after 17 hours of flying this is what I got up to!
I started by going for a skate as I’m trying to skate in every country I visit! Then I went to the Nailympia rehearsals and had a nosey around the Venue which was amazing! Then I had some food and at least one cocktail to help with the jet lag! Ya know how it is! Then it was back to the hotel to get some much-needed rest for tomorrow’s events.
Welcome to the Grand Palace oh my word this place is insane and it is the location for Nailympia Vietnam where there were pyrotechnics and dancers, it was like a concert! I had never experienced a Nailympia like it so well done to David Ho for setting the Barr!! Then It was time to Judge some nails and my word this is some of the highest quality work I have ever seen! then I went for lunch and enjoyed what Nailympia had to offer! Then I went and had Sushi and got ready for another day of amazing nails!
So this is my last day in Vietnam and my last day judging and today was the fantasy nail art competition where the models were dressed body painted and had the most elaborate nails with hundreds of hours of work in them truly breathtaking nails! Then I tried some weird Tea and cream chocolates and yeah not a fan! Then we had the tough job of Judging all of these incredible nails and congratulations to all of the entries cause they were all fantastic! Then we took some photos of all of the people involved all the judges' competitors and we even got our own trophies with our faces on! What a great time we all had at Nailympia Vietnam 2024 and thank you to everyone who was involved now just time to catch a bite with the judges and then it's back across the pond to England where surprisingly the weather wasn’t too bad! I used to do hair n i went to hair expo n out was so fkn cool! The hair was like hot the nails are there. It was crazy... Some of the coolest sht I've ever seen done with hair. True talent, hard work, dedication. I had so much fun. I was in my early 20s then. I can only imagine what a hair expo would be like today!

I’m just getting into my first competition. I’ll be competing online and not in person with Nailympia London this year.
I have always loved the competition with the hand painted ones that are just the flat 10 nails with a cool scene on them! (Don't know what its called.. I think Mix Media?) But the other competition i think you said the Fantasy Art one.. I'm not really a fan of! I just have never understood it! Lol They just look like through everything but the kitchen sink on a nail and I just dont find that very appealing! But certain things arnt for everyone! I'll stick with doing regular nails! Lol Thanks for sharing love!! 😘⬆
