Fun fact about Subaru from Hololive: Her character was not actually a duck, but was gaslighted into being a duck because of her voice sounding like duck squeeling.
Alexi, there’s an actual racehorse owner right there at the itasha show! The Mazda 3, featured at 12:27 in the background, belongs to西山茂行, the owner of Seiun Sky and Nishino Flower. These magnificent horses have even been immortalized as characters in the Uma Musume anime and game.西山茂行 is deeply passionate about ensuring the world remembers his deep-loved horses, and that's why he's transformed his Mazda 3 into an itasha. By the way, he also has a Husqvarna bike, which is also a itasha.
These videos are great as Alexi somehow knows all the anime, vtubers, and games while also knowing all the car stuff to talk about. How does he find the time to learn and retain all of this
You can also see him become less coy about him being a massive weeb with each Itasha video. Like going back to the first one and he's all "Ohh I don't know but I think this is *insert correct show with a synopsis about what it is*" and here he's just describing stuff as is.
@@NEEDbacon On that note, one super endearing thing I've liked is how much of a fan he is for Nakiri Ayame on these vids. I think he did a quick "yo dazo" in one of the vids. Then there was also that tangent he had explaining gap moe with someone like Ayame who looks devilish but is actually a goofball. And now on this vid he says he's "a bit of a fan" at 8:15. I love how Itasha cars in Japan are actually built cars and have more than just a crazy wrap, wheels, and coils/bags. It's really hard to come by in the states unless you're at a big show. Your Probox got plenty of space for a character to be put on. I grew up on Inuyasha, Yu Yu Hakusho, F-Zero (which is also a video game), Yu-Gi-Oh, Tokyo Mew Mew, Dragon Ball, Full Metal Panic, Ghost In The Shell, Hellsing, Kaleido Star, Lovely Complex, Atakku No.1, Jigoku Shoujo, Slayers Next · スレイヤーズ Next, Trigun, Elfen Lied and a lot lot more... Some iconic shite you know. I'd put something on my car that would remind me of my childhood which was in the early 2000's.
Got to be honest, couldn’t care less about the anime characters, but the amount of complex design and attention to detail, with the execution… it’s incredible. I can see the appeal of a project like this.
Legit, after watching all of those itasha vids i've gotta go to one of the shows when i visit Japan. And as for the itasha idea i'd go with Hu Tao from genshin on a something like a hearse (funeral car), somewhat morbid, but would fit Hu Tao theme.
It's been pointed out, but at 8:40 the R33 next to the RX8 you were showing off was in addition to a Lamy Itasha, a Speed King/Jintei from Tokyo Xtreme Racer /Shutokō Battle cosplay.
can’t wait for more itasha content from the king 🙏🏻 I plan on in the future having an ironmouse itasha, not sure what car bc I have a couple I’m interested in.

Do it on whatever car you want!!!
Congrats to 700K, dude!
One day, my goal is to have an itasha of my own.
Very tame though. Not too flashy.
Just something simple.
I'm probably not going to put any anime stuff on my 89 EF, but I might do it on my 94 civic with some Fate artwork
15:34 how nice of them to also include the source
Got to be honest, couldn’t care less about the anime characters, but the amount of complex design and attention to detail, with the execution… it’s incredible. I can see the appeal of a project like this.
Love japanese itasha. Seems like so much thought went into some of these designs. There are so many itasha in America that just don't hit the same.
Legit, after watching all of those itasha vids i've gotta go to one of the shows when i visit Japan.
And as for the itasha idea i'd go with Hu Tao from genshin on a something like a hearse (funeral car), somewhat morbid, but would fit Hu Tao theme.
everytime i've watched itasha's video from Alexi i have boost to go start watchin anime again. thanks Alexi:3
I always love these. I only started watching Alexi's videos because I watched one of his Istasha videos. 😂😂
@15:26 just nonchalantly mentioning something from 20 years ago (Ikki Tousen) just from looking at a body kit xd
"Maybe it's his favorite for a certain reason."
Me: "Hmm. . . that's a large ass famas."
It's been pointed out, but at 8:40 the R33 next to the RX8 you were showing off was in addition to a Lamy Itasha, a Speed King/Jintei from Tokyo Xtreme Racer /Shutokō Battle cosplay.
Pretty sure I am on some sort of list now for watching this video. Thanks Alexi!
surprising amount of really cool and clean cars, the GTR at 8:11 would probably be my favorite~
Got hyped when I saw the TXR speed king tribute on that R33.
Engine fragments from a Subaru official anime really sounds like a meme
i think that the steins;gate van with all the characters painted on would be sick, i’d do that
can’t wait for more itasha content from the king 🙏🏻
I plan on in the future having an ironmouse itasha, not sure what car bc I have a couple I’m interested in.
If you do an Ironmouse you gotta have a small Bubi somewhere!!!
@@s70driver2005 oh you know it!!! even thought about adding him as a whole into the design with her tbh!! I wanna go all out 🤣 my poor wallet
Currently im finishing my turbo bmw e30. In a month or two we are going to start slapping the decals on it. It will have itasha from gundam on it. I will share some pictures with you when the build is completed
Asuna is great because she uses a FAMAS.
The FAMAS is a cool rifle.
Yes.
Still know nothing about anime but my love for itasha cars will never end!!!
