Anything the government can do FOR you is something bad it can do TO you, later. Look at health care. Why do you think it's so expensive? It's not "runaway capitalism." It's runaway fascism, which is the form of socialism that they shoe-horned past the U.S. Constitution. Can't outlaw health insurance or private health care, so they dominate the health care landscape by other means.

I grew up in The Bay. Oakland.
It took 5 years but I eventually got out, moved to Suburbs and never went back .
The bay is HELL ON EARTH.
It didn’t used to be that bad. People are Choosing to live like that and live there.

If there was a governor that ran on the platform "Make California Beautiful Again" I'd probably vote for that.

I never left liberalism. The term "liberal" has taken on a whole new meaning since the '60s. Now, "liberal" means big government, when that is the opposite of what liberal means. Entitlement programs? Unconstitutional. Let the states have whatever welfare programs they want. It's not the federal government's place to involve itself in any kind of entitlement program. "General welfare" is not a welfare check.

When you start walking the conservative path you have to almost be blind to ignore the benefits it has on your life and the people around you. For somethings the effects are nearly immediate other things are of a slower turn but they are noticeable.
Some immediate effects are a lot of your fake friends leave you which give you more time to cultivate your other more real friends.

Usa has such a polarising and extreme social cultural scene that people just opt for the extreme. Nobody can live in their moderation

For me it was when the Holy Spirit appeared in my bedroom on 1/3/2000. Delivered from the occult, promiscuity, alcohol and weed. And healed from 2 abortions.

In what form did the HS appear?
Did it tell you to stay away from the occult?
What part of the occult were you participating in?
      Thank you.

@Same-l3d He appeared as a bright light in the form of a dove with blue flames at His wingtips. I was filled with heat and started freaking out. I was on the phone with my BFF at the time and he told me what was going on (he's now my husband but we couldn't date because he was a Christian and I wasn't). I went and bought a Bible and God showed me Rom 8:28 (my life verse), Ps 139:13-16, and Deut 18:9-12, because I was doing Astrology, going to a psychic and reading Tarot cards. I burned over 75 books on the occult, along with the cards.

@ I’m curious. How does looking at planetary objects in the sky that god created let the devil in?

    • @purplelove392
      @purplelove392 10 дней назад +1

@@Same-l3d Because God specifically says in Deuteronomy 18:9-12 that consulting soothsayers, mediums, and astrologers is an abomination. Satan uses it to distract from worshipping and seeking God. The 1st commandment is specific about Him being 1st.

This doesn't explain how she became a Christian, to have a secular mindset and then come to believe in virgin births, magic healing, resurrections, unless she takes these accounts as metaphorical or allegorical .

She said it was complicated. I had a similar conversion experience. It’s not one thing. It’s hard to describe but it begins with a total collapse in one’s worldview. This opens you up to exploring things you never considered, or even actively rejected, with high humility/low defensiveness.

@@AliciatheCho I would never believe in the things I described above, although I can see allegories in them. I do believe that the Bible and other ancient texts are ancient people wanting to pass their knowledge on to the next generation (as people do). I find the truthfulness is more in the lessons than the mythical claims
