They are also hypocrites that are resentful & do it on purpose so they can get right but they are not because when they say they talk less & tried to tell you like she said & she said it perfectly, the guy says '' but you didn't tell me the date. '' & that is exactly what they do because they are not genuine, they are angry. What happens is that they say ''You have an appointment the 5th of november at 8am & another at 9pm the 18th of november. Also Tracy at work did that awful thing that pisses me off so much, you know her I told you about her plenty of times. Blah Blah Blach for 5 min & did you pick the food & drink I asked you.'' & that is too much we just stop listening not because it's too long, BUT BECAUSE YOU DO THE SAME EVERYDAY!!! So we just give up. So when she says ''well I tried to put it simple.'' she is being hypocritical because she only says ''Don't forget your doctors appointment next month.'' & that is it. No dates, no hours & then they turn around & say ''well when I talk you don't listen & when I short it for you it's not enough so what do you want from me.'' & all that was planned by her to be seen as the one who is always right when she is just hypocritical because she is angry & don't want to admit it. Ladies you are being bad person when you do that & when you don't get what you wanted from your evil plan you get angry & even believe yourself in your lies that you actually tried & you were being kind to think about us & how to help us understand when you didn't do anything of that at all but only another one of your evil manipulation.
The reason is because women include all the details we don't need for memory recollection. We as men only need to know 4 things.
1: When is it
2: Where is it
3: What I need to wear
4: How much money is this going to cost me
Simple, hit those metrics and we're golden.

Relationship problems usually stem from the guy being passive and not guiding the women who haven't learned to be in a mutual relationship. They know how to be in one that they want. But they even don't know what they want so it's up to guys to direct it.

Women end up sounding like a taper recorder on play and fast forward with all the details that we (men) don't need to know or care about. But if we say that, then we don't listen enough to them. Tell them, "OK, I'll listen to all the stuff you have to say, when you start to initiate sex on a regular basis because that's what "I" want". That will end that.
Next time ur woman freaks out or gets mad for u forgetting important dates just say: ''The only date worth remembering is the day i met u.'' *walks off*

I find that sometimes when I don't expect a guy to get something done, I would be surprised and be all 'oh he remembers!' when he eventually did. This helps me curb the need to nag but I can only do it for things that I deem non-urgent or non-important. Telling me to get extra movie ticket when we are about to leave cos his brother wants to join us is a no-no to me. Last minute stuff like that annoys me, more so when I didn't want his brother to join us (know what I mean?) but he doesn't get it. Sigh.

For the most part it's a wash between "didn't really listen in the first place" and "not important to us".
It's kind of like getting 10 stacks of papers dropped on my desk and being told that somewhere in there is the time and date of some party for someone I don't care about, with a bunch of other people that I either don't care about, or don't even like. Don't expect me to sift through 10 stacks of irrelevant gossip to find some information that I don't even care about to begin with.

In my experiences, talking to a woman is never a conversation. I’m just listening to her monologue, so I tune her out. They believe that we should listen and they talk. Men will remember important dates if it is a conversation. Not her monologue.
I agree with the brother in the olive suit. I remember dates and stuff, BUT God only knows how tired it can be to hear someone tell you a massive amount of information that is just extra info. Give me the meat, maybe a few bones.

Hahaha my partner does that, when i ask him he has no idea whag i said. But when i don't talk he finds it weird. I asked him does he want me to talk or be more quiet? He said he enjoys the talking since it would be boring without. Obviously time, place matters and how tired he is that day.

I have to agree...we tend to give it ALL to you at once, instead of bite-size pieces. The brain and thinking process of a woman is quite AMAZING. We can retain tons of information, organize it, process it and distribute it in great detail. It does have it's place and it's a great asset, but it can be difficult to dial back because that's how our brains function. Of course this does not apply to ALL women, just the ones I know...and they come in all colors and ethnicities. On the flip side, if she mentions an important event or date, you can always use your cell phone calendars or a post-it note to capture the information.

Sorry but our brains are the same. Men and women share the same ability to retain and process information. The amount and speed depends on many individual factors like personal interest, age and stress levels but not gender or ethnicity.
Generally within an hour about 50% of new information is lost by the adult human brain. If it is not repeated by the end of the day it’s 70%, a week 90%.
New information needs to be repeated between seven and twenty times to be learned depending on age. This is the reason for repetition, homework, study and testing in schools.
Male or female unless we find the information very interesting in which case our brains will latch on, it’s gone fairly quickly so yes too much information at once is not a good thing for memory. Notes or phone reminders are a very good solution.

Keep it short and simple by saying what is important. Also remember ladies if you only tell or remind him once about it, you might as well have not told him at all but that doesn't mean nag him about it. Be consistent about it without nagging him about it.
mendont forget things that are actually important. valentines day is unimportant. your day to the spa is unimportant, engagement party of YOUR friend is unimportant.

3:05"so which one is it?" how about we have alot of things going on in our heads, its hard for me to keep something like a task i need to do in the evening, in my head for long periods of time, because as a man theres a ton of different issues that we are always thinking of solutions to. so if you tell us about something a week away and expect us to just wake up that day like ope here it is, thats just not gonna happen. i cant even do that for my own list of things i need to do daily. the only way well remember is if we put a reminder in our phones or if you remind us the day of. and on that note if its so important to you, and you remember, why is it not important enough to remind your partner (early enough to where its not too late, because then theres and issue regardless)

I'm so busy at work most of the time that my wife keeps reminding me of all the important schedules and events. not that i dont care but because im always sleepy when she's talking that i keep forgetting what she said. she knows that and im thankful that she's very understanding.
Because i have to remember so many thing for work, things in my personal life that do not matter go straight over my head. My wife knows i will never change on this point.

I know its our Anniversary (Valentines day, Mothers Day, your moms birthday) but it's just not as important to me as it is to you. I try and treat you special every other day. I only remember because it's important to my wife and not myself. Celebrate every 5 years and I'd be fine.

Dude I forget my own damn birthday regularly and on more than one occasion been confused as to why all the stores were closed and nobody showed up for work just to find out it was Christmas.
It’s not that we don’t care or think it’s unimportant but in day to day life we are creatures of habit and are usually focused on what needs to be done here and now especially if we work long hours which most of us do.
Make us put a reminder on our phone and set an alert for that morning and you won’t have that problem anymore. Just make sure we do it then or we’ll forget.

I can get behind the whole notion that if it's not important to you (for both men AND women) then you won't remember. But what the second woman was saying was that her man doesn't remember ANYTHING. Even WITH keeping the statement short. If he can't remember ANYTHING, to me that's a problem.

I was getting every single one of them correct, and not all the people think the sam and I are a young lady and I agree we do take things way to far over the tiny things which are not needed at all. To that, not all events are important to men just important to the women, but at the same time, they might think it is important to you just to make us women happy in the first place.

I found it hilarious how the lady in red got annoyed and claimed we still forget even if they only tell us the important bits, but how is one going to remember your not being told where, when and @ what time. So it sounds more to me that she has a communicating issue, and when she keeps it short she still doesnt talk about the most important things; time & location etc. Than we get blamed cause she doesnt know how to deliver a message hahaha.

I am actually the one that forgets all the important dates while my husband remembers all the dates...I don't expect gifts or big gestures on those days because it matters more to me how we treat each other on daily basis. My husband and I have been married for 19years and going strong.... I also promised myself that I will never be a nagging wife!
