I had a 50 year old man, do the same thing, he would text all the time make plans to take me out for my birthday twice and never did it, he even agreed to visit my church when I asked him to come several times, that never happened always had an excuse for not coming but he always showed up at my house 1-2am and barely answered the phone but always texting. I cut him off, we weren't going in the same direction and he wasn't a man of his word...boy bye which is how he was acting.

When confronted with a similar situation, I expressed my stance that I do not condone such arrangements. I made it clear that I prioritize committed relationships, and anyone seeking to be a part of my life must be prepared for that level of commitment. I conveyed to the individual that we could remain friends, should they decline a committed relationship. Subsequently, they indicated a preference to solely remain friends, to which I acquiesced. I am resolute in my commitment to my values and principles, and therefore, have upheld this decision. I maintain that I have no tolerance for insincerity and games. While gestures of care and affection are appreciated, they do not fulfill my requirement for a meaningful, committed relationship.

I will never understand why any woman would let guys treat them like these two women have, they are both attractive and should be able to find a quality man that will treat them like a true gentleman should.
I have never been given to using pick up lines, if I find a woman attractive and would like to go out on a date with her I just tell her those things and ask her out on a date. I hate word games, therefore I have never done them with any woman I have gone out with. I say what I mean, and mean what I say.

The problem is that most women like nonchalant men. Good guys are almost always seen as weak. A lot of these girls wouldn’t consider a guy who tries to be at their beck and call.

The funny thing about what you said in your reply is because of my long hair, how I dress and I guess the way I carry myself many women are under the impression that they are getting a "Bad Boy" when they go out on a date with me.
But I am, and have always been a guy with high standards, I stopped drinking alcohol some years back, don't smoke anything nor do any drugs (Prescription or otherwise) and eat really healthy (With indulgences at times, because you have to enjoy life), as well as get plenty of exercise too.
So they are always surprised when they learn I am not at all what they expected, some like it and some don't, but I won't just overall change who I am as a person. Because anyone who knows me knows I will always be there for them as a friend, and any danger that is coming their kid's way when they are with me know that I will put myself between their child and that danger to keep any harm befalling those children.
