It probably started after I tried to get the look at the HID to try and integrate it into unreal engine but looking into the hid and pid shouldn't just break stuff. Meanwhile my friend with xbox got his controller working with 0 effort in our project.
Was loosing my mind with the DualSense Edge randomly restarting ... particularly as I got into the game. I felt it was power related, but before I found your video - I didn't have a working fix. Now, after following the steps (which I am sure are a super set of actually whats required to be set), my controller stays on. Thank you.
Your a life saver. I had a ps4 controller with this problem so I bought a ps5 controller to hopefully fix it but it didn’t work but luckily for me you had uploaded this which actually fixed it.

this didnt help me :/ my controller is full charged, works perfectly fine when plugged in via usb. But whenever i attempt to pair the device via bluetooth, it will turn on, attempt to connect, successfully connect, then turn off. and turning the controller back on will disconnect it.

@@chrisr721 alright, so what helped was actually google with "While pressing and holding the create button, press and hold the PS button until the light bar blinks. Enable Bluetooth on your device, and then select the controller from the list of Bluetooth devices. When pairing is complete, the light bar blinks, and then the player indicator lights up." Just remember it has to connect manually and your controller has to be removed from windows Bluetooth devices list. It might take few tries.

Thanks man appreciate it so far looks like it worked. Was struggling with ps5 controller disconnecting wired. So far hasn’t disconnected when normally it would hopefully stays that way. Was playing returnal on it and now I can keep playing it without disconnecting mid game

Many are mixing between Wireless disconnection and the wired one’s, your video is targeting the Wired one’s I followed your steps and finally my DualSense Edge back as it should be! By the way, it’s obvious an issue by SONY’s side, as the XBOX controller I’m having works great
i just want to say i solved the problem i had. none of this tips helped. so, i could hardly pair dualsense with PC, and when i did, it kept disconnecting. I was using integrated motherboard bluetooth device, i realized signal was too weak, i was getting strong connection 30cm max. then i connected WiFi antenna that i received with motherboard. And it works flawlessly. So, wifi antenna is also for Bluetooth signal, hope this can help someone with integrated bluetooth device.
My issue is my PS5 controller will not charge (go orange) unless on a short 1M cable. It will also not power off with one 3M cable (immediately goes from orange to blue) and another longer 5M cable will power off when holding down the PS5 button but again will not charge. Very odd behaviour. Tried blue USB ports, red ports and external USB hub with charging ports.
Guys! Just let it charge for 15min (take a brake, drink some coffee/water) and restart the controller with the small button on the back. That worked for me!
My internet connection is disconnecting & reconnecting while my ps5 controller is connected to my steam deck. If I don't use the ps5 controller the steam deck wifi connection is just fine. please help

@@LovingTechLife Yes I did to give the short version I replaced the cable with my old webcam cable it's pretty beefy but for some reason that resolved all the disconnect issues.
i just purchased a new hexgaming phantom controller, which is a ps5 dual sense controller with 4 paddles on the back. i assume it should behave just like a normal ps5 dual sense controller. the new controller will sync with my pc via bluetooth without issue. however, it will not stay connected for very long at all. i watched this video from start to finish and followed all of your directions. the conntroller will still automatically disconnect, and yes, it is fully charged. i paired it with my i phone, via bluetooth, and it will stay connected without issue. definitely has to be something going on with my pc. i have windows 10, it is fully up to date. the firmware on my new controller is up to date, i checked that as well. i went to steam and made sure it recognized my new controller and it had ps5 dual sense connected there as well. do you have any more ideas?
Hey @@michael7759! I had a similar issue and had to literally move the BT USB from being plugged at the back of my pc to the front so it was closer to my controller with a usb extension cable.
I connected to it to my phone and it does the same thing. Randomly turns off. This means it's a problem with the controller. What do I do from here? Please reply. I would really appreciate mahn.
Hi @TheeRealVenom! Start by making sure you’re using the right cable to charge it up properly. Try different ones because some don’t work for charging, just data. Then try updating the software by connecting to a PS4 console if you have one. Then try resetting with the pin on the back. Try connecting after each of these.

Hey Matthew! If it’s physically the charging port there are really only 3 options at that point. 1. Get some isopropyl alcohol and try lean the ports contacts with cotton tips or similar 2. If you are game then take the controller apart and replace the charging port with a new one. You’d need to look up if you are comfortable doing this and have the tools 3. New replacement controller
I don’t know what’s going on with mine. I did everything but nothing works and then undid it and still nothing. It started with random disconnects and then it can’t even stay on for 5 seconds. Battery is at 100% and only seems to work when plugged into charger, but then my headphone and audio go out.

Don't use WiFi on the motherboard. Some use Ethernet cable . Some where the WiFi affects rhe bluetooth
the controller was fine until the pc began to recognise it as a headset/mic now it disconnects all the time on fall guys
