This is an awesome review, thanks man i mean not everyone gives quality reviews on used cars on our local market. There are others but not as detailed and as clear as this. Definitely agree on the 1st gen 3s features, looks and performance as mentioned. Especially the fuel economy figures. Its definitely better to get the 2.0 than the 1.6 since they have similar fc in the city. Also not everyone can get a bnew car so this review is this is truly appreciated. Cheers
Much appreciated, brotha man! The owner does admit that he wished he got the 2.0R variant but he is still very happy with what he has. I guess that's a lesson to us all, really. The way we treat our personal belongings reflect the way we treat our fellow people. Cheers!

Very reliable car and hindi naluluma itsura, kung may papagawa "sirain" man dito usually underchassis or yung supports lang. Gas consumption average hndi katipid and kalakasan (though may mga iba malakas daw sa gas), pero pag minemaintenance titipid pa lalo, malakas din humatak.
Fact/Buying Tips
- Hanapin mo yung 2.0 (usually sa grill napapansin pag kakaiba nla, sunroof, and wheels size) same lng din ksi ng gas consumtion, dun ka na sa mas malakas HP. Also nothing wrong with 1.6
- May mga mazda 3 stock na may added body kits na like side skirts and yung rear bumper (reflectorizer sa sides nung rear)
- Always scan! bring mechanic
- Okay na okay sound system
- Mahal pyesa, pero di nauubusan + gas consumption 9-11km per L ata (probably the reason why mababa resale value) Good thing is madaming OEM ng pyesa nto na mas mura though dun ka na sa orig kahit mahal.
- If 1.6 kuhain mo nlng ung 2009-2012 (Fixed na ang underchasis nun and rust issues) (basta pag nakita mo ung fabric na seat color na black tapos hindi ung red, yun na yun)
- Nag sshare din sila ng pyesa with ford focus. may pag ka blood brothers
- May mga Mazda 3 1.6 na walang ABS :/// chambahan nlng tlga mabbli, kya mapapansin mo may ABS dyan sa dashboard pero di naiilaw before start. Not sure sa 2.0
- May times na humihina hatak pag bukas aircon, I think kahit ibang cars nman
- Lahat ng Mazda hiyang sa Caltex (try mo pa gas dito, mapapansin mo lakas ng hatak kahit naka AC ka)
- Pili ka lng ng mechanic na expert sa mazda tulad nla Emmanworx, Mhonworks, wag yung sa tabi tabi lng.
- Price range nito second hand na good condition ranges between 245k-260k pag older models + high milage around 190k-235k
Overall good quality car, perfect pang first car, pang porma, pang project, pang daily. Ginagamit ko Mazda 3 ko all the way from Manila to BGC pa work everyday, Usualy nilolong drive pa ng weekends. As long as di ka pabaya sa maintenance kahit anong sasakyan nmn mag tatagal.

Boss question lang, sa 250k na range. Anong mazda yung almost fixed na lahat ng prior common na sakit ng brand na to? I'm currently eyeing at 2007 Mazda 3 red, sobrang sexy eh. Baka nadadala lang ako ng looks, buti. nabasa ko tong comment mo. Thanks in advance!
@@OtherwiseBother909 gotcha paps! Well pra sakin with that price bka pwede mo pa matawadan since 2007 yn. Pero ayun nga common nto pang ilalim tlga. Hndi nmn ung sobrang bigdeal na sira pero, yung sakin nangyari minsan pag nakabig ng sagad may tumutinog na prang bakal.
But before buying dala ka na mechanic na may png scan for sure. So far kasi sakin no problems sa engine, trans, etc. tyaka consider din sa gas, hndi oks to s mazda sa traffic so kung panay city mabbtin tlga.

@@biblicallyhazed Salamat boss! update lang. Nakabili na ako 2007 Mazda 3. Sobrang tugma yung sinasabi mo. Engine and trans are super smooth napakaganda ng hatak. Nagpapalit lang ako engine support hahaha pero overall happy ako sa car. Tipid din sa gas, dinala ko agad sa baguio. 1 full tank mula manila to baguio to la union.

There is an AUX jack in the center console and you can connect aftermarket Bluetooth devices/receiver 👍🏼
Nice review boss. Gusto ko yung looks ng mazda na yan kaysa mga mazda ngayun kasi napapangitan ako sa grills at headlamps. Pls do a review also of honda accord 2012 and camry 11/12., altis 11/12.

Got mine last 2011, Same color and variant, almost 9 years na and still running smooth!!! No major problems. Proper maintenance and tune up always. Still a head turner on the road with few mods.

@Kevin Samaniego that is probably one of my favorite cars ever! Drove the manual 1.8 liter and it was really fuel efficient!!
@@Philkotse It's a really good car with features that are still notable on today's standards like good NVH/insulation and reclinable back seats. On performance, once the VVTi moves to the "sporty" cam profile, the 1.8L 1ZZ-FE engine shows why it's the one chosen for the MR-S and Celica GT. I'd agree as well on the fuel consumption. It's a great highway cruiser with a size that is compact enough for easy driving in the city.

Sa nga karanasan ko sa mga 2000s cars sa tingin ko amg pinaka dabest na pwede mong bilin ay Toyota either Vios o Corolla ikaw na bahala, mas mahal mga lang sila kesa sa mazda at chev 2000s model cars pero bawing bawi naman sa performance at maintenance, murang mura pa ang pyesa kung sakaling may sira. Talagang perfect kapag 2000s cars
