I love stories where there is some sort of remnant/evolved/fragment of a civilization, even more so when they add in some first-contact stuff. This comic is great!
I love Mecha sonic in this one. He feels like he truly remembers everything he did against sonic and knuckles and is sorry about it. I also just like robots in cloaks
the corrupted doomsday theme, the key parts of Mecha's life combined as the world glitches out of the level. this is some sonic.exe stuff without being sonic.exe
And can I just complement how excellently edited this is! The way you brought the panels to life really made me feel like I was watching a true animatic! Amazing job all around!
The audio design for this episode was absolutely wonderful! The music during the first half of the dub really captured the vibe of sonic unleashed and colors during the more light-hearted segments!

Mecha Sonic is my favorite Sonic boss from S3&K that I actually believed that I could play as him if I completed the game. Well, now I can through mods. But it's nice how he had redemption arc and became the good guys after realizing there's more to life than just obeying your evil creator just because he created you.
I love how IDW Sonic is the polar opposite to Sonic X Sonic in where X Sonic is always laying around, not really wanting to do much. Where IDW Sonic starts going crazy if he's not doing something.
I am not going to lie…I think this issue should have only focus on Tails like the Tails’ Adventure and Sky Patrol during the Archie run. That’s just me. Other than that, love the dub
5:21 the way is portrayed here contrast greatly with later when he is hyper focus on revenge maybe Sigma was right when he said his violent behavior is a glitch
I say twin cause they are sonic but robot I find it interested that metal sonic who is the current robot sonic is like a big brother to cubot, orbot and sage just like sonic with tails I'm not sure how metal see it but it has some connections
