@@miichal07Gattuso when focused, was one of the best defensive midfielders of all time. People only know him for his Antics but they don't realize that he's tackles were amazing he was a great man marker that had unlimited stamina dude never gassed out he could play 180 minutes and he was very physically strong. It wasn't a question of if he could win the ball back it was when you knew he was going to win the ball back because of his presence in the team, Pirlo could operate without fear or anxiety.
Notice how Rio turned totally silent when Carlo mentions Kaka. Rio is still having nightmares from that famous night at Old Trafford🤣🤣🤣🤣

Only 1 or 2 good season still he as Brazilian MF 2nd highest goals in champions league only topped by Neymar still everyone else there mostly a winger or striker !!! It’s sad that he had Knee injury in 2010 he sit on home like half year and then !! It’s part of football whatever he gave I enjoyed and respect that player 😊😊!!

In his time, everyone knew who Frank Lampard was, everyone.
The problem is nowadays people think that to praise their favs like Gerrard or Scholes they have to slander other greats. So people make comments like Lampard could only score goals when he was also known for his ability in possession and incredible scan frequency
This is the ultimate compliment for Lampard. He deserves it, maybe more people will realize he was not just a simple box to box goalscorer. I will never forget that Barcelona midfielders dominated from the mid 2000's to mid 2010's and that Lampard always stood in their way, wether it was Deco and Ronaldinho or Xavi, Busquets and Iniesta. Chelsea was robbed in 09 but he had the last laugh in 2012. What a career.
