I was always the one to get sick on vacation. My family got to resent it…”of course she’s sick!” One time, as an adult, I even was stung by a sting ray (the second day of vacation I stepped on it’s stinger! Yes I now now know…shuffle your feet! No one told me that BEFORE I was stung, nor about the chewing tobacco) ! I kept asking God why He allowed it to happen? Usually I can figure it out, and I literally told my midwestern husband, before I went in, that the ocean was safe, I’d been swimming in it since I was little! How was that going to help him? So, God does not live in time! I can now offer up not only the bad experience of the venom/poison(?), but the slow recovery to walk again without pain and even my families frustrations and give it all to God for the Poor Souls. Thank you, Alvaro. 😊. I will keep praying for you and your family
I feel as if I'm a victim soul. Seems like every couple of years I have to get surgery for some part of my body. Back surgery at the end of April. I have been suffering with pain and inconvenience. Offering it up for the souls in purgatory and the conversion of sinners. I've prayed to the souls in purgatory also. To help me suffer this well. 🙏JMJ
When my mother was dying of cancer and had often uncontrollable symptoms, she told me she felt she’d more than done her purgatory on earth. She suffered her entire life, mentally and physically. I sincerely hope that this beautiful gentle woman who gave me my faith is finished with suffering. I don’t assume and I still pray for her and have masses said. This was the only time I ever remember her mentioning purgatory directly, it must have been on her mind.
Please pray to the holy souls that I'm released from my unbearable suffering, and that I'll be able to see my little children again, who have been taken out of my life. I'm getting desperate and having thoughts of despair.

My son has special needs/disabilities. I used to be very sad and upset that my son wasn't "normal" like other children. Then I began to realize my son was just fine in the eyes of God. I also began to realize I could offer up my son's disabilities/special needs. I also began to see my son's disabilities/special needs as a gift from God. My son is doing his Purgatory here on earth.

There's a very similar story from Poland , a priest and young woman dying from the flu pandemic, around the first world war.

So, from what you said in the video , I guess in the same way , I can use the time I suffered "Delhi belly" more than once many years ago back in 1999 when I was on holiday / vacation in India to a "purgatory on earth" as I believe that particular sickness or similar is common in more tropical climes , especially for folk who are not used to the heat or food there . Not forgetting that water supplies can be contaminated and the water pipes and general water supply infrastructure will probably not be maintained to our UK ( and also American) high standards . Also hygiene standards in restaurants etc may not be as strict as in more developed countries, so that wouldn't help either . Anyway , God bless you and I enjoy your videos . By the way , I've been reading Maria Simma and many other books on Purgatory for many years now and I pray for the holy souls regularly . My son and I even made a Point of visiting the Purgatory museum in Rome back in 2017.
As I was told some time ago, I am a victim soul. Everyday is a trial.I cant say I'm thrilled about all the physical and mental suffering, but I do know if I didn't go to Mass, adoration and pray, I couldn't make it. I nearly died on March 24th of this year and, when I asked why (I didn't die), I was told it was a blessing that I survived! Blessings to all and keep praying.
I used to think nobody could suffer like I do. Boy was I ever wrong. To see others suffer just breaks my heart. I love people so much. I would suffer many hells here on earth to bring every soul to Heaven. God Bless you all. I read through some of these and I just cry. I love each and everyone of you. Thank you for letting me be part of this amazing group.
I feel selfish offering my suffering for myself. So many others (my daughter who left the church, souls already in purgatory my included) are in need. I’ll be there a long time already. Lots of purifying in store for me. I want to help other souls.
5 years ago I went to the beach which was 5 hours away by car. I believe it was on the second day that I tripped on a curb and jammed my foot so hard I couldn't walk for three days. Only the final day of the trip was salvaged. The next year I returned and was attacked by a dog on the beach, but fortunately I was not bitten. Incredibly, despite that fact, a sore developed instantly on my foot as if I had been bitten, and I was forced to limp back to my car, and it was 5 days before my foot healed. I have not attempted a vacation in 4 years.
Life is short. Make every day for God. Vacations can wait for heaven.

I ask Jesus to make me a saint. I did not realize what I was asking but Jesus did. Because I continually said I did not want to go to Purgatory, Jesus honored my 2 requests...not to go to Purgatory and to become a saint. Since then, I have had daily, hourly sufferings, illnesses, and pain. I offer ALL up for those in Purgatory, for numerous individuals, for the religious in Purgatory. I have also been uniting my trials and suffering with Jesus's suffering as you suggested. I have been conscious of suffering graciously, without complaining. ❤❤❤❤All for you Jesus.

Thank you for this. I’m 57 and 95% bedridden with neurological diseases. I’ve been asking God to give me the strength to suffer well, but it is so difficult. I cry most days from the pain or the fatigue. I do offer my prayers, works, joy, and sufferings for the souls in purgatory. I haven’t been to Mass in 10 years, much due to my gradual decline. I praise God every day for a wonderful life that I’ve lived-not perfect, but only He is.

Kelley, please, please start going to Mass. do you not want your sufferings to have value? how joyful you would be if by your sufferings, you're able to convert a soul? don't you want to skip purgatory? me too. prepare and go to confession, have a remorseful confession and consume our Lord, all in flesh and blood, waiting to meet you. Oh, your sufferings would be much lightened by this. Trust!

What is the best prayer to say when you want to offer up your suffering?
Can I still offer what happened to me in the airport in Mexico City a few years ago when we couldn't go in the plane by because I couldn't find my papers and we lost our flights and were sleeping in the floor?

I'm coming into the faith, how does one offer up their sufferings? I also feel that our sufferings are not only temporary, like everything else, but they're nothing in comparison to what Christ went through.
Do you mean that if you're sick at home or if you have an operation of some sort that could be a piece of purgatory that God sent to us? And if we suffer it well we might spend less time in the real Purgatory after we pass? Or if we do this very very well we may have the opportunity to skip purgatory completely. How do we join our own suffering say with the bad flu for a week, how do we join that with Jesus's suffering? How do we suffer it well? Does that mean just don't complain or get upset that you're not well? I really need to know specifically. Thanks
I think your words are spot on - to suffer something without complaining, patiently, courageously, with love for God, and offering it as a sacrifice to God, united to the sufferings of Jesus - this is always how the saints described the best way to suffer
Thank you for your reply. I use your information. I need to understand things specifically to really make sense in my head. My uncle is a Priest but has many physical problems and asking deep questions is not so easy anymore. I'm sure I will ask more questions as I watch your videos. I have questions on God's will, suffering, and many more. I pray that God will give me enough time to run this race to the end, successfully. I've always longed for peace but found very little. Or you could always say the Fr dolido prayer “ oh Jesus I surrender this cold,pain, stomach ache, add whatever, even mental suffering , please take care of everything. I believe the original prayer is “oh Jesus I surrender myself to you, take care of everything “ I just add whatever suffering it is or what upsetting me .

Just wondering, have you asked God for purgatory yourself here on earth Alvaro?
I was in the hospital, the doctor thought I was drug seeking turns out I was septic, all I could think of was Jesus on the cross, I kept thinking if he can die for me, I can put up with this excruciating pain. After that a doctor came in and said I needed surgery. 4 weeks later, was all better. God is so good. ❤️🙏
I had food poisoning, two weeks ago. I had stabbing pains in my abdomen. I tried to offer it up to the poor souls in purgatory, but I felt I was not sincere as I did want that pain to leave. I hope it helped them, but I don't know for sure.

Purgatory is not about suffering. Neither is suffering on earth the key to going straight to heaven. It’s all about being undone in the Will of God. The effects of doing your will is suffering. And the reason why we suffer is because there is so much self will in us. when we become undone in the Will of God there is no more purification to be done but we have returned to the womb of the Father from which all creatures and created things came from. This is our original purpose for which God created us: to be one with him in His Will to posses all that he does and to reign with him in His Will. 🌻
