I would have moved the fold so the scrap was larger to give bigger scrap to use on small press pads

Love this project. My only critique would be the echo in your craft room. the sound seems to be bouncing around the hard surfaces in your room. maybe you should consider an area rug to help absorb the sound.

Thanks for the input. This video is actually one that I did quite some time ago. I am hoping that my more recent tutorials do not have the sound issue.

I loved how when you made a mistake you made it work! That made it so real for me. I can't wait to make my own!!

Interesting, however I needed to view with no sound due to the reverberating echo off the surfaces in your room.

That is so cute! And handy! I felted an old army blanket to make a portable pressing pad. Do you think that would work instead of batting?

I would assume that it is made of wool. If so yes. In fact I have a wool pressing mat.

Great job and I love your fabric choice! One concern I have is with the staples. Will they not scratch the top of your chest drawers?

That is why I use the rubber backing. My staples sunk into the backing and has not scratched my countertop.

Hi Mrs Lisa, I love how your portable pressing pad turned out and know it's gonna come in handy when you're crafting.
Also, I just commented on your no sew mask extenders video moments ago.

In another video (making a valance)I noticed you left your iron flat on your fabric....eeek were you not afraid it would scorch your fabric?

Thanks for the comment! Sometimes when I video I get caught up in talking but I am always careful with my iron and fabric. Thanks for noticing and asking!
