Because of sadness the colour can become dull but it will not become black
I bought a goldfish today and it came with black spots but the tank was clean In the store and i have it in a clean tank here too? Is it just genetics or something? It couldn’t be ammonia burns.
If you are sure that it is not ammonia burns then watch your fish if it seems sick then it can be a problem but if it seems normal and active then it can be genetic.
Most probably just genetics. How is the fish doing today?
Same goes for me, the fish is normal it eats well I separated the fish from others and used clean water but the spots won’t leave also I’ve noticed that when I separated the fish the black colour became lighter than before but Whithin minutes any ideas about that?
If your fish is looking normal then it can be genetic or ammonia burn but if fish is having some problems then you can watch the video.

Ammonia Burns can be one of the reasons behind this.
Which medicine should we use
If they are because of ammonia poisioning then change change water regularly and if it is because of bacteria then you can take any anti bacterial medicine from aquarium shop.

Itne kam water capacity ke bowl mei wo fish survive nahi karegi mere dost uske like minimum 1ft ka aquarium required hai. Then also fish ko dhyan se observe karo ki fish lazy to nahi ho rahi agar fish active hai to hosakta hai normal colour change ho ya fir ammonia burn and ammonia burn ko treat karna hai to regular water change karo 60% and try karo ki usko bade container mei rakho because bowl mei wo survive nahi kar payegi.
i have bought 2 black spotted goldfish and a yellow gourami...i have not any idea how to care of them ...mene bss yuhi le liye ki lege tbhi to sikhege care krna ..gourami to frst time se bhot lazy thi . i feel that she is sick. bt suddenly vo active bhi bn jati . and today was the 2 day of them in my house and the gourami is dead..i don't know what happened to her....is this bcoz of the two balck spotted goldfish?? or she was sick in real?? and the special thing is the goldfishes are very much active🤷
Mam generally gourami are slow moving fish and are not aggressive generally but I think that there can be some reasons for the gourami to die:
1.Fish was sick.
2.You have not cycled the tank properly as you said that you bought them 2 days ago.
3.Water temperature difference because both fish need different water temperature but that can be managed by using heater.

Do the black spots go away by itself? I smelled the goldfish water and it smelt horrible, and I changed the water to new.
Maintain the water condition by changing it regularly and if the black spot was due to ammonia burn then it will heal itself once it will get good water

You can use any anti parasite medicine for fish if black spot is due to parasite.

Hello.i got an black moor goldfish..she changed his colour in kind of gold...in last days i seen he have appeared on his body,tail,and the rest some black marks,,look like mold..i dont know is normal or should i do something?not long time ago one fish died after age or 3...was with his belly up most of the time and cant go deep in the water..let me know what i can do with this black moor with that black marks from his body?like in your video
If the water quality is good then it can be normal colour change and that belly problem can be swim bladder disease which is lethal for fish if not treated.

It can turn black due to many reasons that I have mentioned in the video:
1. Due to burns which is due to excess ammonia in water
2. Due to any injury
And many more mentioned in the video.
And it is also possible that because of growing age they change their color but as I said this can not only be the reason their are many more reasons.

Mainly there are three reasons for this:
1st is ammonia spike in aquarium water because of which fins burn and turn black
2nd is fin rot
3rd is normal colour change happening so if there is fin rot then treat with anti fin rot medicine and in case of ammonia spike change aquarium water in regular intervals and if the colour is changing then it is a natural process and we cannot do anything in this
And to identify that it is fin rot or ammonia burns you have to observe the fish carefully if the black colour is coming on fish body and fins both and fish is behaving normal then it is Colour change but if it is looking stressed then it is ammonia burns because fin rot happens only on the fins and the body remains same and in fin rot the fins will start to fall
