    You guys have done a great job with the situation and the biggest thing is we have gotten to see a bit more of you and your personalities, homes, and daily live that you have shared. It’s been great. Especially, love the call ins with the riders. Would love to see you guys ride! A little ride vlog of you guys shredding some trails talking about how the suspension is working on the ride and where improvements in setup can help. Love the content! Keep it going!

  • @steelwing7532
    @steelwing7532 4 года назад

    I don't recall all of the videos or if this has been addressed yet, but it would be great to learn more about the impact a bike's leverage curve has on the aspect of tuning. My bike, for example (a 2019 Fezzrai La Sal Peak), I learned recently has a fairly progressive leverage curve (3.1 at sag to 2.2 at the bottom). I'm getting close to what I believe is an ideal tune with my Fox X2 shock, but given my current setup being high in shock PSI and 0 volume spacers, how much of an impact would this have on my fork?
    I think too often we look for answers in these videos based on a pro-rider's setup, and we try it (maybe just their fork settings, or just their shock settings) because we have the same fork and/or shock. However, how it plays with our respective bike may cause things to go out-of-balance and feel crappy.
    More talk about how to get the system right. Even bracketing has it's limitations, in my opinion, because the bike and it's suspension is a complete system. By the time we arrive at the final piece of the adjustments, we've made X number of adjustments to the other aspects, and what might have felt "best" on the first adjustment made, might not actually be ideal because of the other (12?") adjustments in-between.

    You should do a bike fitting session with some athletes. for XC or enduro riders it doesn't matter if you have a super sweet suspension if your bike setup is so jacked it affects its.

    this is a great show! QUESTION?? I love how a 500 pound spring feels on my bike off the top, but can find the bottom on big hits. the 550 spring feels a little stiff. if it takes 500/550 pounds to move my spring one inch could I use two springs half the length of a standard spring one 500 and the other 550? duel rate springs like they use in jeeps.

    I would like to know the approach for the fork and shock settings if:
    You are a flat pedal rider, what shock tune and directions might be taken to best suit to this type of handling (more weight on the back), to make the feet stick to the pedals, and still have enough cornering stability.
    If you ride short reach, lets say I'm 175cm and run a 440 reach, with flats. Should I set up firm on the front more, to be able to compensate over the bars situations, and resisting more of the non-stop too much weight over the front?

    I’m a hair’s width away from pulling the trigger on a new fork for my bike. My current fork is a MY19 RS Pike RCT3 150mm. I was originally going to upgrade to a Lyrik Ultimate but now since Fox has updated their 36 this decision isn’t so easy anymore. I’ve heard that the Lyrik is a lot more plush and has a more comfortable ride experience. How’s the new 36 feel compared to a Lyrik Ultimate?
