    Another excellent offering from Benelli this model had a lot of Italian input more so the engine which at 82hp is not to be dismissed. Some dealers are offering these at around 6.5k a very reasonable price indeed if you’re in the market for a naked bike. Reminds me very much of the Ducati Monster which would set you back an additional 5k so certainly food for thought. Thanks for the review, riders just need to get past the Chinese stigma and start appreciating good value motorcycling again as once was the case with Japanese products and boy did we eat humble pie……..

      A good comparison to the monster 👍 I agree, we all need to be prepared to drop this idea of Chinese bikes being completely useless, they have been working on this now for some time

      Lovely bike I saw it at the Helsinki motorcycle show, however not cheap at close to €12,000 but still beautiful styling. The whole range were cool looking as it goes all head turners.

    I have the 752s and it's a hell of a Bike, I traded in a 2011 Triumph 1050 speedy and apart from a little less outright speed and grunt, my Benelli is every bit as good as my old Triumph was. The Bike is still Italian designed, and now built in China it's still got it's pedigree of old from the old Benelli factory but is now put together at a fantastic price! I can recommend this bike to anyone looking for a mid size naked Sport bike, you will be amazed at it's performance and it's looks.

    I have one with just under 2000kms. No problems. Great handling and brakes. Plenty of power in the real world and awesome sounds and looks.
    The only downside I see is i would loose quite a bit of money if I was to sell it. In hindsight I should probably have bought a low mileage second hand one. I have not regretted my purchase. The only other negative is perhaps it would be nice if the petrol tank was slightly bigger.

    Nice review, thanks for putting it together. I have had my eye on these for a while, and totally agree that the Chinese bikes can no longer be ignored. I did a review on Moto Morini’s Seiemmezzo 650, and (apart from a clunky gearbox), was blown away by it. In fact, in over 45 years riding, it had the best brakes (Brembo) I have ever ridden with. The elephant in the room though, is depreciation, but when you aren’t paying top money in the first place, you can’t complain too much. If I could afford a Benelli 752s, it would be in my stable. Just playing tunes through the air box/exhaust would be sheer joy on a sunny summer’s day. Cheers

    I really like the trellis frame, the banana swing arm, the silncer and the back lit switchgear, but it isnt hitting the value to take a the risk on a poor dealer network.

    If i had an established motorcycle dealer that i trusted on my doorstep supporting the brand it might be worth a punt to be riding something out the ordinary, but there is no price advantage on this one.

      Resale value does seem to be a concern for most people, but for me the cost is low enough to offset depreciation

    Why can't every manufacturer make their bikes sound like Benelli?

    • @ontheroadadventure
      @ontheroadadventure  Год назад

      They really have put in good effort on this bike, I have to say I’ve ridden a few benelli motorcycles now and thought highly of them all

    Putting aside they have clearly ripped off the design of earlier monster even the dash is a Ducati copy but it's ok because China has no copy write law so they can do whatever they like. Would I buy one at just under 7 grand and watch it depreciate faster than you can say how much when you come to sell it on for 7.250 you can have a honda 750 hornet which sounds nicer and will be worth more when you Trade it in.

    • @ontheroadadventure
      @ontheroadadventure  Год назад

      I think that’s a very fair argument on this one, it is so close to the hornet that already has the Honda reputation

    I think you have a career as a Benelli salesman 😂 Seems great value again. Only thing I would say say is that you can buy a Kawasaki Z650 for £5999 which is incredible value from a strong brand and proven engine.

      lol Thanks mate. Yes this ones price point puts it in competition with a few similar bikes from jap brands, the question on everyone’s lips is does it deserve to be?

      For the price you can have mainly the new Hornet 750 which is technically 2x better bike from almost premium brand... But God this Benelli looks and sound great.
