Welcome or welcome back to my channel. My name is Jess and I love doing DIY, making clothes in a "simply but pretty" way.
It's going to summer soon. And for this season, I usually prefer to wear something light and comfortable. That's why in this video, I'm going to share with you some cute summer blouses. They're super cute, super comfy and perfect for summer. They're also quite easy to make with my step by step tutorial. So I hope you like it and try it out.
To make this DIY, please check out my basic information below:
- Sewing machine: Brother Auto Tension
- Material: 2m of cotton fabrics (1m for each type of fabric)
- My body measurements: 80-64-92cm. I'm 165cm tall and usually wear Small size.

I cannot master the folding of the hem like you. This is such a lovely blouse.
A safety pin also works well for putting the elastic through the casing

Hello, first of all, thanks for this tutorial ! I am currently making it and have an issue with the sleeves: I wanted shorter ones and less "large", so 34cm long and 40cm wide. However, as we have to cut it in order to connect it with the body, I don't understand how can it fit after the cutting ; do we have to take the same width than you (60cm) to let a "cutting margin" ? Thanks in advance for your help ! 😀
If you want the sleeve less big than mine, you can cut the part where the sleeve connect to the bodice smaller. So you can have more room there to avoid the thigh feeling when wearing at that part.

Jess I love all you share, and only have one question, I don’t see you let any seam allowance, do you calculate it some other way I’m missing?
I added it in my measurements already. It's 1cm for seam allowance.

hi, can you give me the measurements for how you take extra from the size our body size.. i would love to try for the first time.. did you take the exact size of bust or we need to + it.. hope you know what i mean cause i can’t really talk in english much😅
To measure your body for these blouse, you can give it around 1-2cm extra for the comfortable feeling. Because these blouses are also free size as well.
