I drove a ten pallet truck from Dandenong to Marysville through the black spur everyday for 5yrs and know/knew the the road extremely well. God I miss it. Need to get my bike license and a bike and get back there for some long needed fun.

Looks like you had an awsome ride to there , the last time i did it too much traffic (40 klmh) and a cop on every corner to spoil the fun, your spot on do it during the week....

If you do this road during the week it has less traffic in general but lots of log trucks..

Please.do.not use.the.spur.to race or think you on race track use it to commute. Or some.local in a 250-400 will show you up without breaking speed limit. Respect the second half of spur (Narby side cause the road is not the same grade all the way) let the better riders pass you, 1000cc Superbikes without Spur gearing are like Grandma's in Volvo's.to tuned Spur Bikes, I seen CB400 L.platers take 2019 R1 or Gixers but the L plater local driving safe but silly non.local Super bike super.Dsssss
