i enjoy his stylaztions, but they are always SUPER close to the og. i get the feeling that they like using him for his name power, but also cause he knows the limits. he doesnt make a full new custom vers. its just stylizations, or like an extra something
Mecha Gaikostu is awesome, he literally might own all of the model kits ever released by Bandai. You can always trust him when it comes to information for Gunpla, that is why I watch him so much.

It looks like the frosted clear parts are clear parts that are on the surface while the normal ones are used with the frame so the light from the led unit can travel along the body

I have a feeling he's not gonna give it higher than a Gold Tier rating. From what I've seen, this does feel like they scaled down the PG to a 1/100 scale size and gave it the RG Unicorns proportions, but the LED gimmick also seems pretty restricting in some areas and I'm not sure this worth the $250 USD price tag. On the plus side though, its compatible with the MG Unicorns weapons so you can take the Full Armor weapons and attach it to this kit to make the Full Armor Unicorn.
Looking at scizophonic 9s blog it seems like this kit is a BIG improvement over the regular, older, master grade in pretty much every way (unless you prefer the somewhat slimmer proportions of the old master grade.) Not sure if mechas gonna rate this one at all yet though how can he compare if its up to standard eith other kits of the same grade? Its the only one :p

Will the full armor set armor fit onto this? I was feeling frisky and got it in clear on P-Bandai and now I want to fit it onto the light up MGEX with the massive boosters on its back to make a massive light up Clear Full Armor Unicorn Gundam. A friend of mine broke is Banshee and comined it with his Unicorn so I was hoping there is a lot of interchangeability involved here.
I really want to see an MGEX banshee gundam, with armed armors BS/VN, that would be so sick, I mean i guess it would be cool to have all the banshee's armed armors. But VN/BS are my personal favorites because claws are neat and one of my favorite gundam weapons
Yeah. If they make a MGEX Banshee that can do yellow and green LED's...I'm probably sold. It's the accessories that are the question mark. But if you've bought previous MG Banshees, those accessories may work with the MGEX...I heard a previous reviewer say he thinks the Full Armor may work on this Unicorn.
I don't mind the v-fin not being colour accurate, because i have a very nice gold marker that i can use. I just have a pack of metallic sharpies, and the only one that doesn't really work is the bronze one. It's a good cheap alternative to paint markers. Plus, regular black sharpies with the super fine tip can work for panel lines (although not that well) and the coloured markers can work on white and clear plastic.
Saw in another video that the manual has you adding the foils stickers for the eyes and sensors as you build. Might want to hold off until it's together, see how you feel about the LEDs in the head
Want to see the core gundams around his base when he's done, bringing him his built shields or arming him with his weaponry, the idea of a tiny Gundam bringing daddy unicorn his gatlings makes me laugh
If the clear parts are where the LED shines through, wouldnt it make it pointless to put the stickers on the head like the eyes ? I hope yo uaddress this in the review
Hey Gaikotsu, when you review this kit could you spend some time looking at the backwards compatibility of the kit? I've heard that the Full Armor parts from FA Unicorn can attach to the MGEX kit and was wondering if the same can be said for the Perfectability parts as well.

The V Fin not being painted is unacceptable at this price point, this MGEX costs over $50 USD more than the PG and the PG had magnets and was painted.

this is so extreme and cost somuch that they decide to use sticker for the horn to counter the extreme price tag.
After it is built see if it is compatible with the accessories of the regular MG unicorn FA or perfectibility if you have the kits.

I like the Satellite Shields a lot, but why did it have to have bulky kneecaps like the Justice?
