@@alexandergrande4207 I booked all my flights on Skyscanner and then let them know. So I booked my flight from UK to Bangkok and then Bangkok to Denpasar for my Bali and Thailand volunteering 😊
Peru I didn't actually go to with PMGY I went the G adventures and I chose that as I'd always wanted to see Machu Picchu. And I chose to do Thailand with PMGY most because I knew I wanted to do some form of volunteer work, whilst also feeling safe within an organisation as it was my first time travelling alone, and the Thailand program at the time was one of the cheapest ones to do in Asia!
Were there people your age when you got there? I’m planning to go there but I want to know if I can make friends there who are around my age. I really loved the video❤️❤️
You'll love it if you decide to go! For the programmes you're not allowed to show much skin because of the culture over there. So I would recommend very loose cotton clothing. You are allowed to wear anything in the accomodation so still take shorts and vest tops and stuff but I mostly took 3/4 length loose trousers from next, cotton t shirts and long loose dresses. Hope this helps x
Thank you for your video. I wanna go to Bali in the fall. I didn’t completely understand why you weren’t able to use the travel/health insurance PMGY offers. It would be really helpful if you could explain that again bc I’m not sure if I should go with their insurance. Thank you!
Hi, bali was so amazing you will love it. I couldn't use their travel/health insurance because I have a specific health condition which means I have to pay extra to get different coverage, so if you don't have any health issues you can absolutely use their insurance. Sorry for any confusion in the video :)
Well I flew from thailand to bali then from bali to Malaysia so those flights weren't as expensive as a return from england or wherever you are from. The whole trip didnt cost me that much as all food is included in the price so it just depends on if you plan on going to a lot of places or buying souvenirs. I would recommend checking websites like skyscanner if you haven't already, as they show you the cheapest flights possible. If you have anymore questions just let me know xxx
I had the same fears when I was 18 and applied but they have social media, including Facebook and Instagram where you can talk to team members about your concerns and you can hear about hundreds of other people's experiences to help you feel more secure in your decision! :)
Yes you are able to go with friends, Im not too sure of the process, I think when you are booking you need to email PMGY and let them know of all the names of the friends and they put you in the same room :)
It said that flights aren't included in the price, so how does all of that work? This is especially for multiple location trips with them.

How do I know PMGY is legit and safe?
I had the same fears when I was 18 and applied but they have social media, including Facebook and Instagram where you can talk to team members about your concerns and you can hear about hundreds of other people's experiences to help you feel more secure in your decision! :)
Did you go with any friends or did you plan it on your own
AllThingsIssey are you able to plan with friends?
Hi I did plan and go by myself as most people I met over there did, but as a lot of people are in the same boat, you make friends so easily :)
